"MY HAT'S GONE!" ,yells Link, as he searchs franticly. "Which one?" ,teases Ilia, as she enters the room. "The only one I have, the green one." grumbles Link. She ALWAYS says that to bug me, thinks Link.
[Later...]
Link is walking down the street, (without his hat,) when suddenly he smells smoke, and hears screaming. Link rushs to the noise to find the mayor's house on fire! "Ilia!", yells Link as he rushs to the captain of the guard. "It's all right Link, Ilia is safe, and so is the mayor." "Whew", says Link as she sees Ilia standing there, shocked. "how did this happen?", says Link. "well, the house was in perfect order before this happened," as the captain gestures to the smoking reck that was the mayor's house. "We think someone did this to kill the mayor, or Ilia". "Well Ilia is one of the most loved person in Orden, so she's out, and the mayor has always been kind and fair, so why would anyone try to hurt them?" ,says Link. They ponder for a while.
"Sir!" ,says one of the knights, "We found this next to some oil and a burnt out torch," as he give the captain a oddly-shaped, green cloth. "My hat!" , says Link as he swipes it from him. "I wonder what it was doing here?" ,says Link. "I think I know what," the captain says as he looks at Link with a questioning look. The captain pulls out his sword, levels it at Link's chest, and says, "Link you are under arest for attemting murder and you're trial will we tomorrow, at Hyrule Castle."
Zelda stands on her balcony, thinking. "News from Orden says that Ilia survived the fire I ordered, but no matter, when the trial begins I'll still have my revenge, even if I have to frame Link for it," she says withe a cold smile.
