It all started several years ago, at a local swimming pool. Tucker had just began working on his brand new pair of gogglesl he was trying to attatch a calculator to them so he could hopefully create the worlds first radio goggles. Even at a young age, he was a techno-geek. Sitting next to the pool, Tucker carefully took the solar panel out of the calculator with a pair of tweezers.
A small boy with black hair and blue eye had just entered the pool for the first time. His parents were convinced that it was infested with underwater ghosts, but today his parents were not home, and his older sister Jazz let him go play outside, leaving young Danny with just enough incentive to escape to the pool. He was amazed at the whole concept of a swimming pool, and had been dying to go since he first rode past it while his mom bought groceries and materials for ghost hunting.
For some reason, Tucker liked to build things while sitting at the poolside. He particularily liked it when it was cloudy, so it was quiet. Today, however, was fairly sunny, and the pool had attracted a small crowd. That did not deter him however, as Tucker was set on building a radio out of a calculator. He sat on the pools padded safety mat right next to the high dive.
Danny was lost and confused. Even though the pool was small, to a young boy the place was enormous. Pretty soon, Danny could no longer see the entrance or the exit, and was lost in a sea of pool goers. Looking frantically, he spotted a line of people. Hoping that they were heading towards the exit, he quickly joined in.
Tucker was beggining to become frustrated. Apparently, nobody told him that a radio could not be built from a calculator. His head jerked up at the thwacking noise of the diving board, and he turned to watch a balding, hairy backed man splash into the water. Tucker shuddered, and started to think that he might need some more electronics to build this.
Danny soon found out that this was not th line to reach the exit, not that he wanted to leave. He just wanted to find where it was so he could leave later. Suddenly, Danny was being ushered up a tall flight of steps. He did not know where he was going until he reached the top, just in time to catch a large hairy man jump from the other end of the platform that Danny was on, shouting something about Shakespeare. Danny's blood froze. He did not want to leap into the pool from all the way up here. He could hear other people behind him start to yell, and one large blonde haired kid tried to make him dive into the pool. Panicing, Danny tried to leap down to the ground.
Tucker heard a commotion above him, and he looked up just in time to watch a skinny black haired kid land right on his pad, crushing the calculator. it's peices scattering everywhere. The battery, fully charged, slid towards the pool, and swiftly shot into the water. Luckily, nobody had been the water at that exact moment. The whole pool was zapped with an eerie blue light.
"Hey! You two!" A lifeguard shouted from his tower, climbing down to speak with the children. And of course, in a panic, the children ran. "I never want to see your faces in this pool ever again, capiche?"
Outisde of the pool, Danny and Tucker stopped to catch their breaths. Finally, Danny realized that he wasn not here alone.
"Hi, I am Danny." Danny announced to almost no one.
"Hey, I am Tucker." Tucker reached up to shake hands.
"Nice hat." Danny said, noticing the red berett that the other kid was wearing.
"Nice jump." Hardly anybody has actually jumped off the diving board the right way, let alone jump off to the side of it.
Danny noticed that Tucker had a lot of electronics on his person. Tucker soon learned that this childs brith parents were ghost hunters. The rest is history.
