A/N: Ok, I've only written ERAGON stories so far but I thought I'd write an Avatar: The last airbender story.
Disclaimer: Look, if I owned avatar, I would have had Aang and Katara kiss sometime at the beginning of the first season.
It was a rainy day and Aang, Sokka, Toph, and Katara where all in a cave on the serpents pass. They where helping three refugees to Ba Sing Sa. They had met up with Suki, and would have all ready made it across the pass if hadn't been for the rain. Of course, he couldn't really practice his bending.
Aang hated days when he wasn't practicing water bending with Katara. Ever scence right before they went into the cave of two lovers, he had been purposely been messing up when he had been practicing water bending just so Katara would correct him. It was times like these that he wished he had more experience with girls.
Sokka came over to where Aang was sitting and sighed
"Girls are strange," He said sagely.
"You're telling me," replied Aang.
"One moment they want to be your friend and the next moment they try to beat you up," griped Sokka.
"Not all girls," said Aang.
"No," said Sokka. "Not all girls."
"Suki beat you up because you where being over protective." He didn't ask, he could just guess. Sokka nodded.
"You could try giving her more freedom," said Aang. "After all, she is a warrior."
"I guess," said Sokka.
They sat there for a while just thinking. Aang about Katara and Sokka was thinking a bout Yue and Suki.
"When are you going to tell her?" said Sokka.
"What?" replied Aang.
"I know you like Katara, as does Toph," he said.
"I don't know," said Aang. "I like her, but I just can't tell her. I'm afraid she'll laugh at me."
"Trust me, she won't," said Sokka. "And besides, if you don't tell her, you'll never know if she likes you. Also, even if she doesn't, she might start liking you because you told her. Who knows how girls minds work."
"I guess I'll tell her today," said Aang. Suddenly he heard Ktara call.
"Hey Aang, could you give me a hand? I need to build a fire and I need your help to make a chimney scince Toph is asleep." She said.
"Sure!" said Aang. He walked over to her and Sokka couldn't here what was being said. Then Aang and Katara kissed rather passionetly. Then Toph woke up and started telling them to go make some sort of floating island so she wouldn't have to feel the vibrations they were making. Then Toph and Katara started fighting.
"Girls are strange," said Sokka.
