She is proud of her daughters. Both of them, despite the fact that one of them believes otherwise.

She is proud of Lily, her little girl who found she had magic in her veins and embraced it fully, even excelling among her peers at Hogwarts. She never wastes an opportunity to speak about Lily, with her friends. She gets carried away sometimes, and has to check herself and her admiration. Sometimes even Lily herself laughs at her mothering her too much.

She is proud of Tuney too. The older daughter has grown up beautifully, into an intelligent and shrewd woman. She has excelled in her own way, even if her mother does not always approbe of those she associated with. Nonetheless, Petunia always seems distant, now. Her mother does her best to convince Petunia that she does love her just as much, but the latter often turns away in scorn.

She sees, however, that lovely though her daughters are, there is a rift between them. Lily's magic is the cause of it, she knows. She only wonders how deep it runs. Surely it is only superficial, and they will turn to each other in times of dire need?

By the time Harry is left at Petunia's doorstep, his grandmother is no more. But she doesn't need to be alive to learn the answer to her question.
