Snow

So pure and white,
but as cold as ice.
In the dark of night,
A sight so nice

All stained red,
The enemy was dead.
Cries broke the silence,
Ceased the bloody violence.

Broken beyond repair,
A deep and a dark despair.
A confusion so strong,
Everything had gone terribly wrong.

Cradled in a loving embrace,
stared at her a calm and kind face.
The light among the bloody snow,
Oh so little did the dear girl know.

A light that once burn very bright,
extinguished by a most frightful night.
A race that roam, wonderless in snow,
Forever she will wonder, friend or foe?
