[This happens after the episode "Befana", in which Marinette gets the special charm called "Kwagatama".]

"Plagg, what's wrong? If you will throw up, please, get off my bed!"

Plagg stopped gagging and threw up a misterious thick black mass.

"It's your birthday today, isn't it? So here you go!" Plagg told him.

"Yes, it is. So that's a present for me? A-a real selfmade present?" Asked Adrien, taken away by his feelings. "I've never gotten anything selfmade yet! So, what is it exactly?"

"It's a Kwagatama, it will show up as soon as all this stuff around it disappeared. You are the only one, I've given a thing like this yet, I like my camembert way more than working.", answered Plagg.

"Thank you, it means really much to me!"

"No problem, I already imagined you were going to like it!"

As usual he didn't get a present by his father, but, way better, as he thought, he got great presents by his friends! Nino created a CD with all of his favourite songs and one song, he made especially for him, Alya told him, she was going to organize a day, where Nino, Alya, Marinette and Adrien would have a lot of fun together and Marinette, most impressive, as he thought, baked him a whole box of macarons and designed a jacket just for him! It was gold, white, black and green showing up in perfect harmony so that even he himself was amazed by how he looked. When Marinette saw him wearing it, she stuttered even more as she normally did! Adrien still wondered why he scared her so much. He was so happy, everybody not only remembered his birthday, but also congratulated him and gave him presents, that he smiled the whole day long. But also felt like he had forgotten something. Something he really wanted to do, but he just didn't remember. When he came back home his eyes widened in realization! He forgot the Kwagatama! He wanted to turn it into a necklace or something like that, so he could have it with him, but he forgot, he forgot the most important present to him! To make himself stop feeling guilty he worked on his plans, but just wasn't able to finish it, he just didn't know how to do it. Saddened he went to bed.

The next day he just took the Kwagatama with him in his pockets, as it couldn't be turned into a necklace. At least that's what he thought until he went in class. He made a plan in just a few seconds.

After school he asked Marinette if he could talk to her quickly. She said yes, stuttering, of course, as she always did when she was around him. When he took out the Kwagatama and asked her to turn it into a necklace, she was speechless. Adrien was already worried. Worried about her, but also about his identity. What if Marinette knew, what kind of jewel that was? What if she would reveal it to whole Paris, that he, Adrien Agreste, a simple model, was Chat Noir, the superhero of paris? How would Ladybug take it? What if - while all those thoughts went through Adrien's mind, Marinette looked straight and deep into his eyes -

"Chat?"
