"Oh why, oh why?" it howled to the sky
And the glowing orb of the moon
The silver ball just glared down 'pon the beast
As it growled its haunting tune
The shaggy hair draped over the creature
A mangy mess of tangles and knots
Covered the quivering beast as it slunk away
Smelling of damp earthy rot
It lifted its muzzle and smelled the scent
Of fresh blood so ripe and dripping
The sweet taste it longed for as it stalked alone
Flesh for teeth to be ripping
And so the lonely soul wandered onwards
In the direction of the promised feast
A teetering equal of senses slowly began to tip
Human turning towards beast
The carcass eased the feeling of loneliness
Fresh meat helping the searching pine
The search to belong in one of two unlike worlds
Separated my full-moon's shine
And as the stars begin to fade into an azure
The west-world awakes and all is gay
And in the meadows beside Hogwarts lies a boy
Beside a carcass in robes with fray
