TheKey's Note: Okay so I got this idea when I was playing the piano, and this song earlier, it goes along with islands of serenity, kaolin, and darker dreamers those characters, but more of the Darker Dreamers, So it's just a little drabble.

Music Necessities

Kaede threw herself on top of the lime green apple comforter bed.

She covered her face trying not to burst out in tears, and a pillow crashed down upon her head anyways so it wouldn't matter if she cried.

This was just horrible she didn't understand why in the world she bothered to even be around him, that insensitive, horrible, needs to-

A knock interrupted her thoughts, Kaede knew who it was. The only other person who had been around when it had happened.

She heard them walk in.

"Kae?"

Kaede congratulated herself momentarily for being right, it was of course Yuki.

They shared a room, Yuki's bed in the corner, while Kaede's was next to the window. While all four of them had to live here there wasn't enough rooms, but good thing the limited ones were huge. Akako and Yuki living in the same room, would be a major issue, someone would die. And everyone was afraid of Chiho and Kaede planning something against them.

So they ended up bunking, but out of the four, Yuki and Kaede had known each other the longest.

"Kaede? Shouldn't you just ignore him; it's the third time this week you guys have gotten into a fight."

Kaede's reply was muffled, by her arms, and the pillow. She had gotten over the extreme rage part on the walk back to the house...those poor joggers. And now was depressed, stupid stupid cloud.

"Well since we all know he'll be coming back here soon, how about a song to cheer you up."

Kaede's muffled grunt was a firm no.

"Oh come on music always lightens the mood."

It was too late Yuki had already sat down at the keyboard. Maybe she would play a song that could cheer up Kaede.

Then the first three notes chimed in and Kaede knew what song it was.

Yuki was an idiot.

In a very off-tune voice, that wasn't very good, Yuki just to make the situation worse started to sing.

"Look for the Bare Necessities, The simple Bear necessities."

Oh god. She was just belting it out.

"I mean the Bare Necessities the Simple Bare necessities or Mother Nature Recipes that."

Kaede was sure Yuki had skipped a line there.

"Bring the Bare Necessities to Life."

Kaede heard the door open, but obviously Yuki hadn't because she kept playing, She could also hear people walking up the stairs, but Yuki being so close to the keyboard couldn't

She started the song over again, even though she'd only played up to the chorus.

"Look For the Bare Necessities…"

Kaede sat up, and saw Akako and Chiho walk into her room, dragging Cloud, poor Yuki she was going to be mortified, she really couldn't sing at all.

But Kaede put her finger to her mouth telling them to shh and for Yuki to finish, even though Akako was holding back laughter.

"The simple Bare Necessities."

Yuki hadn't noticed their presence being fully emerged in the music, to make Kaede happy…. It was a nice thought at least…

"Forget about your worries and your strife."

Than she stopped.

"See Kaede Even Baloo, says so forget about him."

Than Yuki turned around, and her face went bright red, Cloud and Kaede in mid-hug, good sign, but Akako was laughing hysterically, and Chiho was giggling and awing.

"HOW LONG HAVE YOU ALL BEEN STANDING THERE????!!!!"

Cloud told Kaede later, when they were safely away from Akako and Chiho teasing Yuki about her song.

He whispered really quietly.

"Don't forget about your strife."
