Hi! I'm ILLCupcake! I started this fan fiction because I couldn't get Star being a witch out of my head! And then I got thinking about how Ponyhead could be a girl with a horn on her head, so she's not a floating pony head, BUT she can actually turn into a unicorn whenever she needs to! I will be drawing her so be ready for that! And yeah! Here's the prologue!
"Star, you're going to be late for school!" I was already shuffling through clothes that would even try to go well with this stupid bland robe for school.
"Mom, nothing looks good with this flipping robe!" I pulled my hair with both hands, clearly frustrated. I could hear mom stomping up the stairs. Her nose was flared, and her eyes were big and wide, as she walked in.
"Star, you will go to school right this instant, or I will ground you from your scissors AND phone privileges!" Her expression still unchanged, I ran around my room and got my stuff to leave.
"Bye, Mom. I love you!" I sang as I ran away. I put on the oversized witch hat, and grabbed the broom.
"Ready, Boy?" The broom excitedly spun around. "Okay, to school!" I hopped on and threw a magic dog biscuit in the direction of school.
"Hey, gurl!" I looked to my left to see Ponyhead flying beside me on a broom of her own.
"Hey, gurrrrrrllll." I said giggling.
"Are you ready to be in our first year of high school! We finally get to mingle with the other magical people!"
"I know right! I'm ready to party with the mermaids!"
"Are you and Tom a thing yet?" Ponyhead raised her eyebrows at me, making me roll my eyes.
"I don't know, Pony. He's just so angry all the time. It's hard to just chill with him, you know?"
"Eh, he's pretty cute. That's all I know."
I chuckled. "Well, yeah. Only a little, though." I blushed just thinking about dancing with Tom. He can be so sweet sometimes.
"OOO, Girl! Did you hear about the chosen human."
"The what? A human?"
"Yeah! The human was chosen by your mom to learn magic! I thought you of all people would know."
I think she tried telling me at the dinner table, but I was too busy texting everyone about the party tonight. Who would my mom choose? And why a human? She thinks they're so stupid.
"We're here!"
"Woah, wait, halt, Whiskers!" We were headed there too fast. I knew I threw that dog biscuit too hard. Oh there's the wall. "STOP!" Whiskers stopped, but I was already being thrown at the wall. I closed my eyes, fearing for the worst.
"I got you!" Instead of a big impact on my head, I felt warm and cushy. I opened my eyes to see a brown haired boy with a cute mole by his eye.
"Woah, who's this cutie?" I said getting up.
The guy blushed and Ponyhead laughed. "I'm Marco. Marco Diaz. I was sent here to be your knight, Princess."
"You what?!" I automatically opened my phone to dial my mom. I stepped away, but not before turning around again to yell at him. "Stay there!" He just nodded really fast. I looked around, and of course I had caused a scene. That's just what I needed on the first day of school. Finally, Mom answered. She had this look, like she knew I was going to call her. "Yes, Star?"
"Why didn't you tell me I was getting a knight?" I showed her Marco, who behind me waved a little at my mom.
"Star, please, I don't have time for this. I explained this to you at dinner, and you didn't listen. Now, you have to wait for tonight's dinner."
"But Mom," I started. I wanted to know why. She never bothered getting me a knight for so long, even though it's in the rule book. Why now?
"Goodbye, Star." I closed my phone and glared at him, stomping towards him.
"Who are you?" I was really close to his face trying to get him intimidated.
"I just told you. I'm Marco."
So yeah. If you like it, keep reading. i would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
