I swallow and look up, licking my lips despite the bitter taste in my mouth. He looks down at me, flushed and sweaty, trying to regain control of his breathing. After a moment of taking in the look of pure shock in his face, I stand up, wink, and leave the classroom. The only sign that something unusual took place in the room is my tousled hair and pink cheeks. Other students give me strange looks until James links arms with me and pulls me through the halls with a smug look on his face.

"Met with Sirius again?" He asks?

I roll my eyes. "Yes, we both finished this time, Sirius was really surprised at how I've improved."

"I told you he'd be good to practice with."

"Yes, okay, you were right, I owe you a date with Lily now." I admit.

"Why didn't you just ask Lily for help? I've heard she's really good at it."

"It would've put a strain on our friendship that is completely unnecessary." I answer.

"Well, at least you learned from someone, about time, you're so good at everything else."

"Well, we're meeting again later to make sure I have it down before tomorrow."

"You just have a crush on him." James teases.

"So?" I blush. "How could I not with how close we've been recently."

"Okay, Remus, but I still say practicing potions for hours alone together isn't quite as romantic as you think it is."

"You never know, James, something could happen." I say, turning from him and making my way to my next class.
