Natasha walked cautiously through the quiet clearing in the night. A full plump moon floated in the sky. A breeze blew as leaves hanging from branches rustled gently againsed each other. Natasha quickly looked behind her, nothing there. The reason she was here was from a simple note telling her to meet someone there. The signature was anonymous. Who was it to write the letter? Was it a prank from one of the boys or girls at school? Was it her parents playing a prank on her for the reality show on "nick at night"? Natasha stopped walking when she got to the center of the clearing and stared at what lay around her. Then, she knew someone was coming when she heard the autumn leaves crunch beneath their feet at each step they took. She could tell they were coming from her right side. She looked in the direction and saw a shadowy figure. A man stepped into the clearing and stopped after he could be seen clearly. He was all black. He seemed to be wearing a suit and a top hat but his clothes seemed to be connected to his skin. He was all black as in, his skin was pitch black, and his suit was pitch black. He was like a shadow but darker. He didn't have a face. Just two little white holes in his face where his eyes should be. The holes were so white it was as if light was trapped inside the man and the two holes were windows letting the light out. Natasha stared mesmerized. Her legs were shaking. She nearly fainted when she saw him. He opened his mouth. It didn't move with the words he spoke. It just opened and words came. His voice was like a thousand whispers.
"You came." He spoke this loud and soft at the same time. His voice seemed to be in her mind as well as out loud.
"Yes." Natasha croaked.
"I bet you are wondering why I called you here." The man said as if reading her thoughts.
"Yes." Natasha said, this time more calm.
"This is a secret meeting. I had to have sometime to talk to you privately." The man continued. Natasha only knodded as her eyes widened. What was it that the man was going to tell her? Should she be worried? Was something terrible going to happen to her or her family? Was something terrible going to happen to her and her family?
