The Kiss
We gazed at each other, our eyes locked together so strong,
The blade of a diamond sword couldn't break such a bond.
Into his arms I fell so long.
His love became deeper than the deepest pond.
The man stood there, his back to the waning sun, The soft summer breeze brushing through His long flowing locks of silk ruby hair, like fine wool spun. In his jade eyes my heart felt anew.
He gazed into my ocean eyes, so blue. Lightly brushing my coffee hair with his fingers. Before, what we yet knew, Our hearts took over, our actions did linger.
I felt myself drawing closer to him. Like fishermen drawing their loaded nets. Our hearts were singing a love hymn. As our lips pulled slowly together like magnets.
