SHADOW AND LIGHT
CHAPTER 1
I woke up, looking into the closed eyes of Link, the Hero of Time, also known as the Prince of Hyrule. Or that was what I thought.
I decided to walk around the Western Wing that housed all of the royales. My father, King Daphnes Harkinian of Hyrule (long title I know) was normally in his study at that time. When I passed his bedroom I heard the calm voices of nurses started to turn frantic. I turned the knob, finding my father, dead. I couldn't believe what I saw. Yet it was real. I went back to our section of the wing and woke Link up. I cried out "He's... He's... Dead!"
Starled clearly Link repiled " Who Zelda, who died?"
"My... My father" Cleared my throat here, " He had a heart attack..."
After this, Link had nothing more to say. He led me to my fathers room to see it himself. There he layed, pale as snow, dead. Nope, he wasn't sleeping. He was dead.
That was a year before my tale actually begins. I was crowned Queen while Link was crowned King. We both gad the same amount of power, no more no less. When you become a monarch, you are pressured into many things yet one annoyed me the most. Make a heir while you can. I know I'm Queen and I shant use language that I will speak but that rule pisses me off. I could not express it better. I'm not saying that I don't like having sex with Link, its just they think you have to make a heir right away. Very rude in my opinion but not in the opinion of others.
Though right in the climax of pressure, all hell broke loose. A war began. That means my people die. Many more attempts on Link's and I's life. The war was declared by Nyerine, a country full of jealousy of the calmness and prosperity of our kingdom.
Hyrule has been long time enemies of Nyerine. Lets just leave it at Nyerine is not the best at peace. The country's inhabited by bandits. The king is a bandit himself if you ask me. He won't even stay for a whole treaty signing. I guess he hates us that much.
SOOOOOOO SORRY ABOUT SHORTNESS! I would call it an intro. First chap out soon. Hopefully. If the SATs don't drain my energy (sadly they probably will) They could just use my 99 in math and 98 in english that I got on Freshman year. That would be nice. Please review!
