Daku Sora: Bleh. I have returned. This chapter is more of a prologue of to what I'm about to write. Kyou's a little OOC, but we don't know what the 'lil cat is thinking in his head.

It was a nice, hot, summer day, Tohru was cleaning the house, and Shigurewas in his office…doing something.

The two other Sohmas were outside fighting in the summer heat, when a yell, followed by a loud 'CRASH' signified that fight was over.

Yuki appeared at the entrance, and smiled at the sandy-haired girl. His cheeks were slightly flushed, mainly due to the heat-not the fight that happened just then.

"Need any help, Tohru-chan?" The rat of the zodiac smiled at the girl, he really liked her.

"Iie. I'm almost done with the cleaning," Tohru stood up, her hair tied back in a ponytail, "But come with me to go shopping, Yuki-kun?"

"That's fine. I'm going to shower now, I'll come down to help you." The rat proceeded to walk up the stairs, and disappearing at the turn of the hallway.

Meanwhile, Kyou had climbed up to the roof, and was laying there, staring at the sky. He was able to hear the other two's conversation and cursed. Yuki had everything. The rat was the family's pride, he was Akito's favorite, he was the "Prince" of the school, he had everyone loving him, and he had Tohru.

As much as the cat hated to admit it, but Kyou loved Tohru-she was the only one to have ever accepted him so readily. And how could he not love the sweetness, gentleness, and openness the Honda girl had? Honestly, he really loved her, because of how she accepted him.

But Yuki had her too. There was really nothing left for Kyou, hell he even missed the times when Haru still was his…friend. Then Yuki swooped in and took him from Kyou too. He hated him because of the fact Yuki was perfect.

The orange-haired cat closed his eyes, feeling foolish, but desperate, and thought, 'Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might have this wish I wish tonight'

'I wish that I can be in a place where everything is different, away from these Sohmas, away from Yuki. From Tohru, and Akito. From Haru, and everyone else.'

Unknown to Kyou that a shooting star streaked across the sky, and because it was blocked out by the flaming sun, the cat would never know that a star winked, and his wish was granted.

"DAMMIT! I'm coming!" Tohru and Yuki had returned from the grocery store, and where making lunch. He jumped down, and ran it, "You'd better not be making leeks!" For now, he'll just make do with whatever he had right now, after all maybe his wish would be granted.

The cat was tricked by the rat, and from then, the neko hated the nezumi…
