After listening to the Skillet song It's Not Me it's You I got this idea. It's based off the theory I wrote in Make it Stop! Anyway, enjoy.

Maine crashed through the thin ice and fell to the bottom of the lake he landed in. Sigma would yell at him, tell him how he should've overtaken those idiots with ease and how stupid he was to let the red commander trick him like that. He closed his eyes, envisioning the only good memory he had left. Wash walked over and reached out his hand for a shake with a tiny smile on his face. "Hey, I'm agent Washington, or Wash if you prefer. I'm your new roommate." Maine let out a soft growl, so soft in fact that it almost sounded like a purr. His entire past was a living nightmare now, and he couldn't fix it.

He hit the bottom of the lake and stared up at the thin layer of ice at least fifteen feet above him if not more. His memories had slowly started to turn back, but not fast enough to make a difference. Maine closed his eyes and thought about Sigma and how Carolina had given him to her. If she had kept him, who knows how things would've progressed. Maine stopped in his thoughts and his eyes shot open. Sigma. This was all his fault! If he hadn't been given to Maine in the first place!

Maine let out a very low, angry growl. "Damn him... DAMN HIM!" he screamed.

And that's all I got.
