AN: Hello! I have recently tried to rediscover my love for Naruto, only to discover that I had written down some ideas for a story about Hinata and Sasuke! I was thrilled that they weren't terrible and I decided to try and write this. Hope you like it, me and my friend have an argument about the best couples in Naruto, but the only thing we can agree about is that Sakura is terrible. Enjoy!

Kiba: Skullenko does not own Naruto. Neither does her 'friend'.

Skullenko: What was that?

Kiba: You have no friends.

Skullenko: Go talk to your dog, wolf boy!

She looks like an angel.

Argh! Did I seriously just think that?!

Nervously, I look around. Can anyone see me? Itachi's usually busy training or…whatever. For the first time I'm glad he pays no attention to me. Mom's inside, baking something for company that'll come over later. Dad's probably meeting with some other people. No one's around.

I sigh and settle myself on the rock. I'm so weird. I have NO friends and now I'm watching the neighbors daughter…

I lean in closer to the hole in the wooden fence. The Uchiha clan's little village was right next to the Hyuuga clan. The little Hyuuga girl was always outside playing in her garden. Always dressed in a flowing white dress making her seem well…

Heavenly. Hence the angel thing.

I was forbidden from talking to her since our clan's always competed due to the whole eye thing. We were alike in a lot of ways, neither of us had unlocked our ability yet. Our dads looked down on us for not being good enough. And most of all, we were both lonely and needed a friend. Her more than ever. She came home crying 2 months ago, her dad was there too, holding a baby and silently weeping. I overheard them talking. Apparently her mom died giving child birth. For some reason, her dad's been mad at her! Saying that she put too much stress on her mother when she was pregnant. I know it's not true, my mom complains about her dad screaming all thru the night at the little girl for not being able to do some move all the other kids can do.

It's very sad, he's putting all of his energy into the baby, trying to make sure it's not, quote, "A failure, like you". I'd love to comfort her, but I know I'll probably never talk to her. She's been hiding in her garden each day, but if my parents ever found out, they'd ground me for a month.

She's a world away, but right now, she's so close, I could probably reach thru that hole and touch her…

"HINATA! WHERE ARE YOU?! IT'S TIME FOR YOUR LESSON!" That'd be her nanny, "COME OUT! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I hear the girl whimper and duck deeper into a bush.

"YOU BETTER NOT BE IN THAT GARDEN AGAIN! YOU'LL GET YOUR NEW DRESS DIRTY!"

She moved so she was now pressed up against the fence. I could barely see her.

"Hey, can you help me?"

I jumped slightly. Who was she talking too?

"You're still there aren't you? You're always there. You're always watching me. So, can you help me over the fence?"

I paused. She knew I was there the whole time?! Quickly I jumped up and slung my arm over the fence. I felt her soft warm hand grasp mine and I pulled her up. She hopped down and looked around before her eyes settled on me.

"Thank you," She bowed her head, "My name is Hinata Hyuuga. What's yours?"

Wow, I never realized I didn't know her name, "Sasuke Uchiha."

"Sasuke Uchiha…" She repeated softly. Her face lit up, "Sasuke Uchiha, I think we'll be seeing a lot of eachother!"

I smiled.

AN: Did you like it? I totally wasn't sure how to end this, but I think it turned out alright! I just love this couple, and there just aren't enough little Hinata and little Sasuke fanfics! They were both so adorable at that age (you can tell they were small, because Sasuke still has family and Hinata's sister was just born). Maybe I'll write a sequel to this with them as 13 year olds… who knows! If you'd like to see it, say it!
