Trudi Siddiqui was the kind of girl who knew her own mind. If there was something that she didn't agree with she wouldn't hesitate she would voice it. She would stand up for what she believed, none could intimidate her. She was independent; she thought she didn't need anyone but her family. She was 18 years young, and enjoying life. Enjoying the freedom- Tariq couldn't control her anymore. She could do what she wanted. She knew her place in the world.
That soon changed when Finn Sharkey came along, he was mysterious. Trudi couldn't help but want to find out more, more about the boy with jet black hair. She had so much going on in her life, when the whirlwind which was a relationship with Finn began she began to feel torn, distanced from her sister Naseem and brother Tariq. She found it hard to juggle her time, she didn't really acknowledge how distanced she was in till she forgot the anniversary of her mothers death.
How could have she forgotten, she was a bright intelligent girl who had a bright future ahead of her. She didn't even want to come to Waterloo Road School but her brother's behaviour meant that she had to. She became sucked into Finn's world; her grades were slipping her brother and sister slipping away.
Finn made her feel special, happy which Trudi hadn't properly experienced before. Finn was so patient and caring with her, she believed that every boy only wanted one thing. Finn however waited, waited for her to be ready didn't want to ruin things. Despite the cultural devide she enjoyed spending time with Finn. That one night spent together though, how she would never have expected what was to come. How could she, an a star student be so stupid. She didn't understand how this could have happened. What was she going to do, her world had turned upside down and she had to face it... She was pregnant.
