My eyes fluttered open and I felt a smile spread across my face. Why? Because I finally get to see my best friend in the world. Jack. I pulled my blankets off me and stepped out of my bed. I walked over to my window and smiled. Written in the frost on my window spelt the words. "Come outside." I giggled and looked down at the ground two floors down from my window. The ground was covered in a light. Fluffy. Fresh layer of snow. That's just how I knew he was there. I walked over to my dresser and looked in my mirror at the lazy, sleepy looking girl staring straight back at me. I smiled. Pulled my clothes out of my dresser. Slipped them on. Put my hair in a messy bun and ran out the front door into my yard. Standing there was jack. The cutest smirk plastered his face. I ran up to him and hugged him. His cold arms wrapped around me making me giggle.

"I missed you crystal" jack whispered in my ear.

"I missed you too jack." And that was no lie. I did miss jack, I missed him like crazy. He was the only guy that I loved to bits and the way his cold skin embraced my warmth made me love him even more. My tight hug loosened and I stepped back and looked at jack. He was the same old jack. His piercing blue eyes. Hair as white as snow that seemed to sparkle like crystals. And his tall broad body.

"It's been a long time crystal" jack stated. And he wasn't lying. The last time I saw him was last winter.

"Yea" I said as that smile slid across my face once again.

"Oh yea! When I was gone I made you something." Jack reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. He opened it and inside was the most beautiful necklace I had ever seen. It was a snow flake that fell perfectly on a delicate silver chain. I couldn't help smile. I pulled jack into me and hugged him tight.

"Thank you so much jack, it's beautiful."

"No problem crystal. So let's put it on you then." I turned around as jack pulled the necklace out of the small box. Jack pulled the necklace over my head and fastened it. I turned around to face jack. He smirked. "It looks amazing on you." I smiled and blushed.

"Thanks jack you're the best." He chuckled slightly.

"It was nothing."

"Well it means everything to me." I smiled. And looked jack in the eyes. Jack leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek.

"I'm glad it means that much to you." He smiled and hugged me firmly.
