Ash, Misty, and Brock were walking along in Viridian Forest one day when they heard a rustling in the bushes. "All right! It's a PokŽmon!" Ash enlarged a PokŽball, but it turned out to be just a Caterpie. "Awww." said Ash. "I wonder what made the Caterpie jump out of bushes like that." Suddenly, the bushes moved again and a boy a little older than Ash with ski goggles and brown hair came out. "Hey! Who are you?" asked Ash. "Hey! Where are we?" asked the boy from the bushes. "My name's Tai. We just got transported here from another dimension. Where is here exactly?" "Um, you're in Viridian Forest." Seven other people walked out from the trees, along with eight wierd looking creatures. "Hey! PokŽmon! That means you're PokŽmon trainers! Let's battle!" said Ash. "Those don't look like any PokŽmon I've ever seen." said Misty. "They're called Digimon. And we don't just use them to battle. They are our friends, too." said Sora. "Well I bet we can beat all of you in a PokŽmon-er-Digimon battle!" said Ash. "You're on!" said Tai. "Tai, are you sure..." said Joe. "Ash, I don't think..." started Brock. "Oh, come on Brock. We have about twenty PokŽmon and they only have eight wimpy Digimon. We can beat 'em!" insisted Ash. Tai was trying to convince the others to join him in the battle. "Come on, guys, it'll be the first organized battle!! We can show them that Digimon are better!" Tai finally convinced Sora, Mimi, Matt, TK, Joe, Kari, and Izzy. "Okay, it's settled. We'll meet you all at the Indigo Plateau tomorrow at noon. Prepare for the biggest battle of a lifetime!" And you better do that too!
