Tai collapsed on his bed and sighed. Agumon was already asleep on the other side of the bed. They had done it. Tai, Matt, Sora, Mimi, Izzy, Joe, and TK, had saved two realities, beaten Myotismon, and found the eighth child.
Kari, out playing with Gatomon, no doubt, was the eighth Digidestined. Without her they couldn't have won.
Tai thought back to the day they all came into the Digiworld. It was hard to believe how little he knew about Koromon and the rest of the Digimon. Now Agumon was his closest friend, or Greymon, or whatever.
He looked at the object hanging from his neck, the crest of courage. Tai almost laughed, all 16 of them deserved that!
It would be impossible to hide Gatomon and Agumon from their parents forever. But it was all too unbelievable. They would never believe it...
Agumon turned over and murmured in his sleep.
"Agumon, get up." said Tai.
"What is it..." said Agumon, his eyes still closed.
"Come on," Tai walked into the living room where his parents were watching TV. "Mom, Dad, remember all those times people said they saw monsters in Tokyo? Well, there's something I haven't told you..."
