Foreword:
This story is my reflection of Stephen King's Dark Tower series, in which the characters actually meet the author. It made me think, what would happen if everybody's characters were real at some level of existence? And what if the worlds are converging into one? Read on, if you dare.
Introduction:
This is a story of the video game world, beyond our own reality. Forget all what you believe, and allow me to take you across multiple worlds of great peril and eternal heroes. Worlds where the sake of the universe hang in the balance. Worlds where the most unlikely heroes rose to the challenge against impossible odds.
A very long time ago, several worlds were formed around our own. Each world a vast space of imagination, where great heroes and gruesome villains emerged from the darkness. Some of those worlds have come into contact with one another, known as crossovers. Others never have, and until now, nobody would have believed they ever would.
The barriers are falling. Fast. Every world shall cross over, unless someone finds a way to reverse the process. If not, all of reality and all of fiction shall come together, and the Convergence that the Ancients feared shall be complete.
I call upon you, courageous ones, to aid me in my quest across the vastness of imagination. Take my hand, and let us go to places so familiar, yet so fantastic.
