Yazoo stood looking out over the race track, at his older brother's raceway , from the upper deck of the observation room. Hard to believe that three short years ago , he had almost lost his life on that very track. He had lost his lower right leg , but it had very little effect on his life , aside from a slight limp.
There was one good thing to arise from the near tragedy . He had met the love of his life, Reno Sinclair. The charismatic red head had bumbled his way into Yazoo's heart and got stuck there . For that , Yazoo was quite grateful.
He was drawn out of his thoughts again when he felt a pair of arms encircled his waist.
" Penny for your thoughts Dollface?" Reno asked giving Yazoo a kiss on the cheek.
" Just remembering the day of my accident , and thanking my lucky stars it happened."Yazoo said turning to face his lover.
" Thanking them? Why on Earth would you be thanking your lucky stars for an accident that cost you half a limb?" Reno asked incredulously.
" Because if it weren't for that accident , I never would have met you silly" Yazoo said , a twinkle in his eye.
Reno shook his head and laughed , " You have one hell of a way at looking at things Baby"
He tucked a piece of Yazoo's hair behind his ear and leaned in to give him a kiss. " I love you Dollface".
" I love you too. " Yazoo said , returning the kiss.
" Oh God get a room you two!" came a voice from the doorway. They turned to see Kadaj and Elana entering the observation room.
Elana swatted Kadaj up the side of the head " be nice you, or no sex tonight"
Kadaj laughed and leaned in to kiss her . " Will you tell them or will I ? " Kadaj asked wrapping an arm around her waist.
" You can , then you can ask Yazoo while he's here " She said winking at Yazoo.
" Ask me what?" Yazoo asked , curiosity burning in his eyes.
" Well I just asked Elana to marry me and she said yes . I wanted to know if you would be my best man" Kadaj said smiling at his beutiful fiance.
ALL HELL BROKE LOSE!
Yazoo screamed and ran over to hug Elana , both jumping up and down like school girls , squealing in delight.
Then there was a round of " OH MY GOD"'s from Yazoo and " let me see your ring" was asked several times .
Kadaj , who had causious stepped away from the " girls" , (in his opinion Yazoo suddenly became one), joined Reno on the other side of the room for safety.
" So does he sqeal like that in bed?'' Kadaj asked Reno in amazement.
" Only once in a blue moon " Reno said , looking at his boyfriend , who suddenly was acting decidedly more feminine, " But THAT is scary" Reno swallowed visabely.
" He still didn't give me an answer " Kadaj said , " I'm afraid to ask him again" .
Yazoo overheard the conversation between Reno and Kadaj , and ran over to his brother " Of coarse I will . Oh MY God I am so happy for you guys !" He said giving Kadaj a tight hug.
" First Loz and Tifa get married , then Cloud proposes to Sephiroth, and now you guys " Yazoo said , " This is wonderful" Yazoo said bowing his head.
Reno didn't miss the slight look of envy in Yazoo's eyes.
He wanted to take their relationship to that level , but Reno was afraid to. His parents had had a messy divorce and he was deeply hurt by it . Marrage just scared the living hell out of him. He loved Yazoo with all his heart , he just wasn't ready for that step yet.
