A poem I wrote for a book report. Summary of Twilight. :)

Disclaimer--Everything except the exact wording belongs to Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight Saga.

Bella falls in love with Edward

but something about him isn't right

and every time they start to get close

it always ends in a fight.

She hears a story about the Cullens

saying they aren't people like her,

and even though the pieces fit

she isn't really sure.

When she and Edward talk

she finds out it is true

and all this doesn't scare her

even though it would scare you.

They aren't the kind of vampires

that you see on TV,

they feed on animals, not people

for that's what they've chosen to be.

When Bella meets his family

unfriendly visitors arrive,

and suddenly they're in a race

to keep Bella alive.

The 'tracker' finds out where they are

and uses Bella's mom as bait,

Bella went just where he said

hoping it wasn't too late.

But it was only her moms voice

and Bella knows she's toast,

out of all the things in her life,

she'll miss Edward the most.

As the vampire creeps closer

she just hopes it goes fast.

The pools of death surround her

and finally, then, at last,

she hears Edwards voice

and attempts to open her eyes,

the broken bones are painful

but her burning hand causes the cries.

She begs and pleads for Edward

to take the venom out

whether or not he could stop himself

was his only doubt.

In the end it is alright,

and they concoct a lie...

that Bella fell down the stairs,

and she did almost die.

Everything seems fine

as if they were winning,

but little do they know

their troubles are just beginning.

I hope you liked it! Review please!
