Author's note: This is my first ever story so don't be to harsh please and thank you :). I would love some constructive criticism as I don't know whether I'm a good writer or not haha xD well anyways on with the story. Couple:Alistair/Cousland.
Alistair had been wandering around Lothering looking at all the things the darkspawn would end up destroying. He had come across a beautiful rose and had thought to himself 'how can something so beautiful exist in a place with so much despair and ugliness?' "Alistair! Where are you?!" Kaila Cousland called out to her friend. "Sorry I got a little sidetracked im coming..." Alistair picked the rose quickly and ran up to the rest of the group."What is that?" Leliana asked. "It's ah...um a rose that I picked..." "Oh thats so cute, may I ask who it is for?" "I was going to give it to Kaila...do you think she would like it, or maybe even like me?" "Oh Alistair, why are you asking me? You need to be more confident in yourself. Just be you and give her the rose im sure she will love it."
3 hours later at the campsite...
"Hey...Kaila I found this umm...do you know what this is?" "It's a rose." Alistair began to sweat and blush slightly "i picked it in Lothering and I remember thinking 'how can something so beautiful exist in a place with so much despair and ugliness?' I um I want you to have it..." Alistair began to blush a deeper red, Kaila smiled and also blushed ."Aww thank you Alistair thats so sweet of you..." She leaned into kiss him but hesitated 'no we are just friends!' she thought to herself. So she hugged him instead. "umm...goodnight Kaila, sweet dreams." "You to Alistair."
The next morning...
Kaila had woken up and everyone else was sleeping. Kaila looked over at Alistair and whispered "Hes so cute when hes sleeping..." She crawled over to the sleeping man and stared at him for a few minutes until he eventually woke up. "mmmmm...uhhh Kaila?..." Alistair began blushing a deep red."Alistair...did you know you snored when you sleep?" "Umm...no I didn't..." Kaila began laughing "well its cute!" "Kaila I need to tell you something, I know we have just met eachother and all but...i have grown quite attached to you and I..." "Shhhh..." She kissed him passionatley for awhile and didn't notice that all of their friends where watching. Morrigan shook her head in disgust and Sten just grunted. "Awww thats so cute!" Leliana had cried out and Dillon the Dog barked jealously.
