This was an assignment for my English class. We were studying the Canterbury Tales since it British Literature and that's what my English class is. So basically we were supposed to make a poem and it was supposed to rhyme.
Anyways on to the poem:
Jack Sparrow
There once was a fellow
by the name of Jack Sparrow.
The sea is his love and so was his rum,
yet you would never call him a bum.
His hair was long and so were his dreads,
each strand was thicker than a piece of thread.
He dresses in garbs
that would make you think of him as scum,
but you never would have guessed
that this layabout pirate happened to be the best.
Down to Davy Jones Locker he goes,
but he wouldn't think twice 'bout stealing your gold.
ཁYo ho, ho. A pirate's life is the life for me,ཁ
that his motto is because he's an adventurer of the sea.
He's a clever and witty buccaneer.
If you've heard of him you'll be filled with fear.
Barbossa, his mutinous first mate,
has Captain Jack Sparrow trying to take pack his rightful place.
With "Pirate Lord" as his denomination,
this scurvy dog's got quite a reputation.
Like I said this was a homework assignment and it had requirements, so I know it sucked. But just tell me what you think, if a lot of people say they didn't like it, I'll edit it or add more on to it.
So just review!

Edit: 5/18/10
I had to come back and edit this after I read this and I happened to notice a typo. Sorry I'm kind of OCD, not really, it just bothered me. And yeah I know my rhyming sucks but it was for homework quit being picky. (Did I spell that right?)
