Never written a skins story before, but I thought I'd give it a try :) Just a random little thing I wrote, please be nice when reviewing.
Confused Feelings
Franky Fitzgerald had never been the kind of girl who got worked up about boys. Not once had she pined or longed for someone.
She had just been perfectly fine simply hanging around with her mate Dean, who even she could acknowledge was quite a good looking boy, but she had never felt any kind of attraction to him. He was in a way, a knight in shining armour to her, he had tried his best to protect her from the bullies who had destroyed any happiness she had in her adolescence, and eventually his attempts to protect her had got him sent to young offenders-though he told her it was worth it. Many girls may have become infatuated with a boy who cared for and protected them in this way, but not Franky, he was just a friend.
She had occasionally wondered whether there was something wrong with her. Why didn't she ever fancy anyone? Could she fancy anyone? Or was she so screwed up emotionally she would never be able to have those kinds of feelings.
Until she moved to Bristol - and met Matty. He was different.
She had been furious that afternoon they had met, dressed in an over sized coat and pointing a gun at him…yet he called her beautiful, glorious. No one had ever done that before. His attention eased the hurt she was feeling slightly, gave her the confidence to stand up for herself.
She didn't even consider that she would ever see him again after that, but she was did.
The next time was briefly at a party. She had been so upset the last time they met, not to mention startled by his random appearance, that she hadn't properly taken in what he looked like, now she certainly did. Well, she could only say she thought he was beautiful too.
She met him properly a couple of weeks later. He was with Liv. Yet he was constantly watching her, and while Franky wasn't familiar with receiving those kinds of looks, she was sure there was desire in his eyes, and she found herself often glancing at him whenever they hung out, found she was unable to prevent her smiles around him, whenever he spoke to her.
Oh yes, Franky Fitzgerald was starting to get it bad for the strange, musical boy who had called her beautiful.
However, Franky didn't have a clue about how to deal with her feelings, maybe because she had never been happy enough with her life to feel them before
…and he was with Liv.
