The Devastating Decision

Summary: It was a devastating choice. She liked them both, but she could only choose one.

Pairing: None! Well, maybe it's not none..

Other information: This is told in Paige's point of view.

Oh my god! Their both so cute, but I can only have one. Only one. This is a tough design. Which one do I choose? The one that looks adorable, but is uncomfortable. Or do I choose the not so adorable one, but is very sensitive.

Both of them seemed to shout at me the would yell, "Pick me! Pick me!"

It was very tempting to just take both of them home with me. Oh how I wanted to do that. Not only do I have to pick one, but I'm on a time limit here. I have to leave in five minutes.

"Come on Paige," My friend, Hazel, said. She was clearly being impatient, "We have to go soon."

"I know, I know...just give me a minute, this is a tough decision."I saw Hazel roll her eyes in the most annoying way possible.

I took a deep breath, and then I let it out. "Okay," I told myself, "I'll choose..." I chose the not so adorable one. "This one!"

Hazel smiled and said, "Finally!"

I smiled at Hazel, but ignored her. I walked with my chosen one up to the counter, "Oh, you're going to make me so happy tonight," I whispered.

"29.99." In front of me, came a dull and tired voice.

"Paige," Hazel called out, "Are you done paying for those shoes? Come on," She whined, "Lets get out of the mall!"

"Hold on, I'm almost done..." I said impatiently as I paid for the shoes. The tired clerk gave me my beloved shoes in a plastic bag.

"Okay, lets go!"
