I was referred to this site after being on Wattpad for a long time, so I decided to write my own story on here... I am not sure how good this story will be, but I hope you guys all enjoy it.
I have had this story in my head for a long time and already have the ending planned out which is unbelievably an amazing ending that many people would love to read at the end. I haven't read many stories on this site, so if you would like me to read and review your story tell me and I would happily love to. Okay well here is the first chapter to my story A Bride To Be. Also I wanted to add that the first part might be slightly confusing, but I wanted to add it in my story.
Chapter 1:
Seeing You Again
The veil trickled down her back. It was white with a lacy trim around in, to give it the modern look, Spencer Hastings was trying to capture. Finally the placead come for her to transition from a Hastings to a Kingston. Her parents sat in the first room with their legs crossed and hands sitting formerly on their knees. Her friends lined up in front of her, giving Spencer reassuring smiles.
The young woman knew that this wedding was quite sudden, considering she was right out of highschool. Love could wait, but according to her parents money can't. Marriage was suppose to be the thing two people did when they were so in love that they couldn't keep their hands off of each other. This wedding was completely the opposite, her parents forced her to marry the man of her suppose to be dreams.
Wren was more like her parents dream guy for her. He was a very handsome British guy, she had met at a book store, with a accent that drove any girl insane. Only it didn't drive every girl insane. Spencer had tried to fall for the man, every night and morning were lies, her heart had told her to break it off while her brain said to work it out.
Hanna started walking down the aisle with a bouquet of white roses and a red dress on; meaning love. Spencer almost wanted to gag thinking about marrying a man she didn't care about. The mocha eyed woman couldn't even imagine a spitting imagine of a kid that looked like him. This is it, now or never. She felt the piano start to play throughout the church making a beautiful lovely noise. She took in a large deep breath before taking the first and the hardest step.
The rest of her steps were easy, only when she got closer all she saw was her childhood friend not her fiancé soon to be husband. "Toby." she choked out, almost feeling dizziness overcome her body. She met his eyes only to see blood trickling down his neck.
"I'm sorry Spence." was all he said before passing out right before her eyes. Her body jerked forward trying to catch his body, only to be lost in complete darkness.
She woke up covered in sweat and tears. She felt her back slightly sticky and wet from her nightmare. She hadn't seen that man in over 3 years, yet she still dreamed about him constantly. She worried about his safety ever since -A was in their life.
Her and Toby had dated in her high school years, only for them to breakup right before college because she was going to Oxford and knew long distance relationships didn't work out. Next to her was someone calmly breathing almost in rhythm of her own. His face was peaceful, she looked at him with slight jealousy because he didnt have to deal with the A fiasco. She smiled at him sheepishly and brushed her hand along his cheekbone. One of his eyes fluttered open and looked at her raising an eyebrow. She smiled down at him trying to calm herself down.
"Spencer what are you doing up?" Wren had asked her while sitting up. Spencer shrugged her shoulders before locking eyes with his dark brown ones. "Is it about the Carpenter?" Wren asked. Spencer nodded before feeling Wren's soft lips on her own.
A tear drifted down her face. Her hand went up to swipe the tear away only for Wren to stop her hand and do it himself. "Spencer." Wren says touching her cheek with his soft hands, that he barely used. "C'mere."
Spencer curled up next to Wren's body while thinking about the blue eyed boy she had wished was next to her; cuddling, kissing her cheek. Toby. His name sound so foreign. She hasn't heard Emily talk about him since high school. The last thing she heard about Toby was that he was coming home to Rosewood, where Spencer Hastings was currently located for the time being.
Her and Wren had planned on getting married in the very small town, than moving on the other side of the Atlantic ocean to London. Her parents were proud that their daughter was marrying a very successful man; a doctor. Only Spencer wasn't so sure he was the kind of man she wanted.
"Spencer." Wren's raspy voice says bringing her out of her daydream. "I am tired and need to get up in the morning, so close your eyes darling."
Spencer nods and listens to his words and closes her very heavy eyes that want sleep, but her body feels wide awake. Evently sleep overcomes her body.
Line Break
Spencer was sitting at the coffee shop awaiting for her bestfriend to show up and come to her rescue, so she didn't look like some kind of loser drinking coffee alone. The barista came by her table refilling her coffee with more black coffee. Her coffee was probably the strongest coffee anybody had in the shop. She loved her coffee; it made her heartbeat pick up speed giving her adrenaline and it was her addiction she couldn't get enough of.
A black haired girl walked into the shop carring her fashionable purse. "Spencer Hastings is that you?" a voice asked from behind her. Spencer turned around to look eyes with a girl she hadn't seen since high school.
"Hello Mona." Spencer greets in her professional voice. "What brings you here?"
Mona smiles before strolling over to the seat across from her with a big smile still plastered on her face. "Life is good and see life has been good for you too. Are you and that guy from highschool finally tying the note. I mean come on you and him could barely keel your hands off of each other." Mona rants on before Spencer put her hand in front of her face.
"No actually I am marrying Wren Kingston." Spencer blurts out feeling sadness overcome her as she looks at Mona confused face.
"You mean that doctor who I was crushing on. Spencer you knew I liked him. I even got the courage to ask him out a couple of weeks ago, but he told me he was getting married. I didn't think he was marrying you." Mona harshly let's out before picking up her Pumpkin Spice Latte. "I think I am going to go now."
"Wait-" Spencer says before she is cut off by the chime on the door. Mona and Soencer look up and lock eyes with the blue eyed boy Spencer had been dreaming about for a long time.
"Hello Spencer."
"Toby?" Spencer had asked almost like she was back into one of her dreams where he had always died because of A. "Is that really you?"
"Yeah it's really me." he says looking at the coffee order list, obviously having no interest in talking to Spencer. "Oh hey Mona."
Mona gave him a small smile before looking over at Spencer. "I think I am actually going to go this time. Bye Spencer. Toby." Mona tells them before slipping pass the blue eyed boy and out the glass door entrance.
Spencer faces Toby. "I didn't realize you were back in town." Spencer comments in a slightly harsh voice. Toby raises an eyebrow at her comment.
"And I didn't realize that you were engaged, so is a congratulations in order?" Toby asks facing the barista and ordering a coffee with three teaspoons of sugar. Spencer smiled at Toby realizing that nothing about him has changed, well maybe except for his attitude.
"What happened to that sweet boy I knew in highschool?" Spencer asked him. He scoffed at her questions. He faced her gripping his coffee.
"He grew up and realized that life isn't always fair." Toby reminds her. Spencer thought back in High school when he was trying to figure out what had happened to his mother. He had lost his mother at a young age; she went to Radley and accidentally fell off the roof is what they were supposedly told.
Toby brushed by her, but she stuck out her hand and pulled on his wrist. "I'm sorry Toby, but I-"
Toby cut her off by looking at her with rage in his blue eyed that use to be soft and happy, but now they looked angry and sad at the same time. "You're sorry!" Toby exclaimed. "You just ran off and left me. You told me you couldn't be with me because you wanted to make mommy and daddy proud by going to freaking Oxford." Toby had felt the first tear fall down his face. "And guess what I bet they are proud of you and I also bet you are marrying some doctor or lawyer."
Toby walked passed Spencer successfully, leaving her in tears. Spencer wished she could go back into time and tell herself not to break it off with the man of her dreams. She didn't know how to get him back, but all she knew was that she was still in love with those blue eyes even though she was going to get married in a couple of weeks. Wren Kingston may have been the dream guy for her parents, but Toby Cavanaugh was the dream guy for her and still held a place close to her heart that Wren would never be able to come close to.

Spencer was sitting on the couch thay was located in the Brew with her bestfriends surrounding her. "I saw him." Spencer blurted out. Alison's eyes widen at this new information.
"You mean you actually saw Toby Cavanaugh?" Alison asked with bigger blue eyes. Spencer nodded before falling back against the ugly blue plaid sofa. "What happened exactly?"
Spencer looked over at her with mocha eyes before sighing. "Well first he pointed out the fact I am engaged, than he yelled at me." Spencer expressed before taking a sip of her extra large black coffee that her throat desperately needed.
"It sounds like it went better than you thought." Emily told her before using her straw and moving around the whip cream that was on top of her drink. Spencer narrowed her eyes at Emily and crossed her arms.
"What do you mean?"
Emily coughed a bit before glancing up to see Toby sitting a couple of feet away from them. "Well it looks like Rosewood is getting smaller as the years go by." Emily comments while nudging on her girlfriends knee. "Look who decided to show up."
Alison looked up at and made slight eye contact with him. "Why is he here he is only making our bestfriend hurt more as her big day comes knocking on the door?" Alison asked before standing. Emily grabs a hold of her girlfriends hand.
"No Ali don't make anything worst or Spencer is literally going to kill you." Emily tells her. Alison sighs before sagging back down into the small chair with Emily next to her.
"I don't know what I would do without you Em." Alison expressed with so much love in her big blue crystal eyes. Emily grabbed her soft hand.
"I don't know what I would do either." Emily says before going in for a kiss. Alison responded by kissing her back with so much gentleness. Spencer smiled at the couple from afar.
"Eww gross PDA." Hanna says making the two break apart and laugh gently in harmony. "Don't tell me you two are going to go all lovey dovey on me to." Hanna asked before she earned a smile from Emily.
Emily looked into Alison's eyes and Alison looked into hers before sighing. "I am so happy for the two of you." a voice had said in front of them causing them to break apart.
"Oh hey Toby." Emily greets him with a small smile. "You probably didn't think me and Ali would be together."
Toby shook his head before glancing over at Spencer. "Yeah well I didn't think the posse would be back together." Toby commented making Alison shot him a dirty look.
Alison stood up and gave Toby a glare. "If you are here just to bash on us, then I want you to leave. You have done nothing but hurt us these past couple of years." Alison tells him with hate in her voice the whole time.
"What I have done these past couple of years to you guys?" Toby asked shaking his head at the girls. "Don't you mean what you and your posse did to me these last couple of years?"
What had happened to the sweet boy I knew in highschool? He grew up and realized life isn't fair. Spencer looked up and locked eyes with his for a spilt second before looking away. There was complete silence, nobody knew what to say. Spencer's group of friends all had guilty looks on their faces. Toby let out a small laugh.
"Thats what I thought." Toby tells them before picking up his stack of papers and walking out of the Brew. Alison took a deep breath before sitting back down.
"What happened to Toby?" Emily asked Alison. Alison shook her head before burying her head into Emily's shoulder.
"He is acting like he was when I went to see him in juvie. I think he still hates me for what I did to him." Alison confessed. Spencer shakes her head.
"It isn't all your fault Alison it is partially my own. I shouldn't have broken up with him like that." Spencer recalls from the past before standing up and throwing away her cup of coffee and leaving. Once Spencer was outside she felt her phone vibrate in her hand. Talking to Toby. Big mistake. I am still here, bitches and I remember everything. -A
Spencee had re-read the text a couple of times before she felt somebody touching her shoulder. She glanced up to see all of her friends standing behind her. "Do you guys get the text too?" Spencer asked them. They nodded in unison before looking around the area. "Do you think A is coming back into our lives?"
Alison pushed delete. "I hope not, but if A comes back. I think I am going to die." Alison confessed before grabbing a hold of Emily's hand for comfort.
Line Break {Preview}
"Spencer what is going on with you today. You seem a bit jumpy?" Wren asked her grabbing her shoulder. Spencer gave him a small smile before taking a sip of her drink.
"I'm fine I just feel confused." Spencer told him setting down the drink. "Have you ever been threatened by someone, but don't know who they are?" Spencer asked him. Wren shook his head before his eyebrow went up.
"Why? Is somebody trying threating my fiancé?" Wren asked coming closer to Spencer and rubbing his soft hands up and down her arms.
"No I was just asking." Spencer says to him before turning away from him and dumping the rest of the contents in the sink and washing the glass cup out.
"Well I must add that is a weird question to ask." Wren comments before looking behind him and turning Spencer around and pulling her into a hug. "I love you Spencer Hastings." Wren tells her rubbing her dark waves of hair.
"I love you too." Spencer confessed wrapping her arms around his neck and nuzzling her nose into the crook of his neck. Wren looks up with an evil grin staring at a black hooded figure in the window. The black figure lifts up his mask revealing his face to Wren. Wren kisses Spencer cheek before releasing her.
"I will be right back and don't look because I have a surprise for you that is going to blow you away to London and keeping looking this way." Wren commands slightly back her look at him with a confused face. "Just don't look. Keep your eyes sealed shut." Wren tells her before walking away from her.
She raises an eyebrow before muttering. "Okay."
I am really bad at writing angry parts because if I write them too angry I feel like I am going to start crying. I thought it was hilarious in the show when Hanna called Spencer out on setting Toby. I was also sad that he wasn't in that episode I seriously hope he is in the next episode. Well I would really like your guys opinion on this chapter please review. I would appreciate it if you could get me 5 reviews. Thanks for reading. Oh and I am sorry for making Toby hate them again. He will come around evently it will take some convincing though. Please read my next chapter. Love you guys! Oh and I am going to write a preview for every chapter and a previously on thing. I hope you guys enjoyed the preview!
