Picture Perfect

Summary: A funny little ficlet that could be interpreted as John/Olivia. Where are our two favorite detectives at this hour?

"Where are detectives Munch and Benson?" Asked Captain Cragen as he came out of his office, walking a bit faster than normal. Fin looked up from his desk and responded,

" I don't know Cap. Last time I saw them they were in one of the interrogation rooms looking over a huge stack of old case files. I think they were trying to link our perp with other victims."

Elliot, who was too determined to finish his paper work, did not look up or respond. He merely nodded distractedly at Fins comment.

"Well, it's almost three A.M. I think they deserve a break. Go get them and you guys can all go home. You look ready to collapse." Cragen responded.

"Yes sir Cap." Said Fin, getting up and heading towards the interrogation room that he saw John and Olivia go into earlier. Not bothering to look through the window, he opened the door stealthily and quietly, and call it a cops instinct, if you like, but he was glad he did, because when he observed the scene before him he didn't know whether to laugh or tilt his head and say "aww!"(If you can picture Fin doing that).

John and Olivia were fast asleep, sitting in a pair of pushed-together interrogation chairs and surrounded by hundreds of opened files. Olivia's head was drooped on John's shoulder, and John's chin was tucked into his chest, his arm swung over the backing of Olivia's chair. His glasses were hanging askew also, which created a pretty comedic site. So comedic, in fact, that Fin decided that he shouldn't be the only one to see it. He walked quietly into the room and ripped a piece of blank paper out of John's notepad. Exiting the room, he crumpled the paper up and took careful aim, bouncing it off Elliot's forehead.

"HEY!"

Fin made a shushing sound and motioned for Elliot to come toward him, pointing toward the interrogation room and grinning. Curious, Elliot obeyed. Once he looked through the window, he let out a small snicker. "Aw...their so cute, " he paused, "do you think we should wake them up?"

"Naw," Replied Fin, "leave 'em there. They look pretty comfortable. Don't you think?" Elliot decided to play along, " Yeah, they do look pretty cozy." They both grinned as they glanced at the sleeping figures in the other room.

"Hey Fin, you got a camera?"

Fin tore his gaze away from the observation window, "huh? Oh," he laughed, "no. sorry."

Elliot shook his head in disappointment, " And it's such a Kodak moment, too." Fin just smirked.

Both men shook their heads humorously at their colleagues one more time before exiting the hallway. Grabbing their coats off there respective desks, they left the precinct as if they hadn't seen anything.

Later that morning, two very disoriented detectives woke up from a surprisingly comfortable sleep, only to realize that they were slouched over the interrogation table... and in a very awkward position.
