Finally! After over three weeks of planning, I bring you my Mighty Med/Lab Rats crossover. So, I've had this idea for some time now, and I've taken A LOT of time to think about it. So, I really hope you enjoy, and if you don't, no hate! I will say, it'll take a while for Lab Rats to be introduced. Maybe the fourth or fifth chapter. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. So...since this is such a big deal to me, I really hope I don't butcher the beginning! (grins awkwardly) I recommend the song Crush On You: by Tata Young. I hope you enjoy! I own nothing, and BTW, this is Skoliver. You might need to remember that...Oh, also sorry for the cheesy title. If you have any better ideas than "A Mighty Friendship" PLEASE tell me. Or, tell me if you like it and I'm being overdramatic. Yeah...I spent over three weeks planning and never ONCE thought up a name. Pathetic. Okay, I must warn you, I'm twisting facts A LOT in this story, but only to make them better, more interesting, and well suited for the story. I just want you to enjoy it more, and changing facts will help that. So, I guess you can say a teeny-bit AU. But I'm not changing facts so much that I'd call it AU. Whatever you think fits. Anyway, enjoy!
Nobody's POV:
"Hey, Kaz!" said Oliver, "Pass me the thermometer!"
"I've got it!" cried Gulliver, passing it to him.
"I believe I asked Kaz." growled Oliver.
"Sheesh…" muttered Gulliver.
Oliver rolled his eyes. He still didn't see why Horace was having them work together on one hero. Well, at least Chaz wasn't there. In fact, Oliver hadn't seen Chaz in a while. Sure, he could work with Kaz, but he didn't want Gulliver around. That girlfriend stealing jerk...well, Skylar wasn't his girlfriend but…
"Hey, Oliver!" cried Kaz, "Where's the stethoscope?"
"Around your neck…" mumbled Oliver.
"Oh!" cried Kaz, "That makes so much more sense! Now...uh...where's the thing we put in people's ears?"
Oliver rolled his eyes. Kaz seriously didn't know the proper names of medical instruments. "Please say it's not in your ear."
"Geez, that happens one time and no one lets you forget it." grumbled Kaz. "No it's not in my ear!"
"Oh, was that what this...uh...was?" asked Boji, coughing up the pen light.
"Ugh that's…" started both Oliver and Kaz, "Gross!" "AWESOME!"
"Guys, what do we do next?" asked Gulliver.
"Ugh, rookies." grumbled Boji, returning to chewing on the pen light.
"Aren't you supposed to be helping cure patients?" asked Gulliver, snarkily to Boji.
"Aren't you supposed to be in an elementary school?" snarled Boji.
"Ooh!" said both Kaz and Oliver. Hey, they weren't about to support Gulliver. Besides, no one messed with a talking wolf.
"Okay boys!" cried Horace, walking in. "You shifts over! You can go!"
The boys walked out of the exam room, and into the REC room, where they usually hung out in at Mighty Med when they weren't curing patients.
"I can't believe he gets to hang out with us." muttered Kaz.
"I can hear you, you know." said Gulliver, "You're terrible at whispering."
"Oh, you already know how we feel about you!" snapped Boji, "Oliver and Kaz are supposed to be the only normos at Mighty Med!"
"Well, maybe that's how it was, but now Chaz and I are here, too!" yelled Gulliver.
"Speaking of your partner," growled Boji, "I haven't seen him in a while. Did he get tired of you, too?"
"Maybe you ate him!" hollered Gulliver.
"How dare you!" screamed Boji, "I haven't eaten a human since I was a teengaer!"
Everyone stared at her weirdly. "It was the awkward teenage years." grunted Boji, "Just go with it."
"I don't know…" sneered Gulliver, "You sure look like you've eaten a person or two."
"Are you calling me fat?!" gasped Boji.
"If the shoe fits." snapped Gulliver.
"You want to go?" growled Boji.
"NO!" yelled both Oliver and Kaz, grabbing Boji's scruff.
"Lemme at him! Lemme at him!" yowled Boji.
"Okay, okay." said Oliver, "Regardless of...how we feel about each other, we can't resort to violence. That's not what being a hero-or a doctor's- about."
Boji sighed. "Fine. I'll attack him when you're not around."
Oliver sent her a sharp glare.
"Or not at all." said Boji, "However you like it." It was clear that she was displeased, and Oliver had to question why did she start hating Gulliver? It was clear why they still hated each other now, but he didn't know how this began.
"Hey guys." said Skylar, walking in.
"You want to rumble!" yowled Boji, "I'll take you too, Girly!"
Skylar held up her hands. "Uh...what are you talking about?"
Boji's eyes suddenly widened. "Oops! Sorry Skylar! I did not know that was you!"
Skylar shrugged, and clearly chose to ignore this. She instead went over to the couch Gulliver was sitting on, and planted a kiss on his cheek. Oliver quickly looked away, while Boji and Kaz gagged.
After ten seconds of awkward kissing, Skylar turned to the others. "What?"
"Wha-nothing." said Boji.
"Uh...Skylar." said Oliver, "Are we still on to check out the new comic book store tonight?"
Skylar's eyes widened, and she face-palmed. "Oh God, Oliver. I spaced! I promised Gulliver I'd go out with him tonight. I'm sorry!"
Oliver sighed. "I guess we can reschedule."
"Yeah." said Skylar. "Yeah...let's do that."
Everyone sat in silence for a moment, before Kaz said, "Well, Solar Flare has a cold and we really need to treat her! Let's go."
"I'll help you guys out." said Gulliver. He planted a kiss on Skylar's cheek. "See you tonight, Honey."
Skylar grinned, and waved, flirtatiously as he left.
"I better go, too." grunted Boji.
But Skylar quickly grabbed her scruff. "Oh, no. I'm not done with you."
"Why do you need me?" asked Boji.
"Well…" started Skylar. "There's...something I need to talk about. Revolving around guys. And…"
"You want someone to practice talking to before you talk to Oliver and Kaz." finished Boji.
"Right." said Skylar.
"Speaking of boys." said Boji, "You really don't act like yourself around Gulliver."
"Well…" mumbled Skylar, "I...um...act like…"
"How you want Gulliver to see you?" questioned Boji.
Skylar sighed, and rested her head in the palms of her hands. "This is why I chose to talk to you first."
"Seriously." said Boji, "Be yourself, or he's not dating you, he's dating someone else."
"Well…" said Skylar, "We've been dating for a while, and he's really sweet...and, uh, I want to tell him I love him."
"Of course you ignore what I just said…" murmured Boji, "Wait what?! You want to do what?!"
Skylar grinned and nodded. "Why shouldn't I?"
"Young love full of promise devoid of reality." muttered Boji. "Skylar, why do you want to be complete and utterly devoted to one boy at your age?! You have your whole life."
"Well, I don't want to wait that long." said Skylar. Boji face-pawed. "Besides," continued Skylar, "Isn't it better to just go for what you want rather than wait?"
"But love can let you down." argued Boji, "What if you break up?"
"We won't!" cried Skylar.
"You don't know that." said Boji.
"I am nearly-no-certain he feels the same way." said Skylar.
"I don't even know why you asked me." said Boji, "What do you want? My approval or something?"
Skylar thought about it. "Kind of."
Boji sighed. "This is really what you want to do?"
Skylar nodded.
"Then I support you." said Boji, though her eyes were slightly sad.
"That was surprisingly easy." said Skylar.
"Yeah, well I trust your judgment." said Boji.
"Thanks for the chat, Boji." Skylar said, "I'm going to go tell Oliver and Kaz now."
Skylar left, and Boji followed her, thinking, I just hope this doesn't blow up in her face.
Half an hour later:
Skylar walked up to Gulliver in the main office, Boji, Kaz, and Oliver spying from a nearby hallway.
"I'm going in, boys." whispered Boji. Boji then commando crawled into the room, and hid behind a desk. She perked and ear up, to catch their conversation.
"So...Gulliver." started Skylar, "We've been hanging out for a while...and I wanted to say...I love you. Like, really love you."
Gulliver stared at her for a long time, before, to everyone's surprise, he burst into laughter.
"I'm being serious, Gulliver." said Skylar, starting to sound annoyed.
"Me…" he said, through laughs, "In love with...you? Ha!"
"W-What?" asked Skylar, looking very upset.
Suddenly, Gulliver got very serious. He grabbed a whistle, and blew. "Boys!" he screamed. Suddenly, a bunch of S.W.A.T. team guys ran through Mighty Med, grabbing and handcuffing heroes.
Oliver ran over to Skylar, then. "You revealed the existence of heroes!?" he screamed.
Gulliver grinned. "Exactly."
Skylar only stared straight at him. She hadn't moved throughout the whole ordeal. "Umm...Skylar?" murmured Oliver.
"Up against the wall!" screamed a S.W.A.T. guy. Kaz ran over next to Oliver, and they both backed against the wall, Boji at their heels. Skylar still didn't move.
Gulliver grinned, evilly. "You heard him. Up against THE WALL!" At that moment, he slapped her, hard, across the face, and kicked her side, sending her reeling into the wall.
"Why would you do that?!" shrieked Oliver.
Gulliver smiled. "Because I knew she wouldn't fight back."
It was true. Skylar had a disturbingly delayed reaction. Even against the wall, she held still, and had the same broken expression she'd had just minutes ago. She ever so slowly brought a hand to her cheek, still holding the expression. It freaked out...everyone.
Gulliver flashed another wicked grin. "I thought heroes were supposed to be smart." Skylar winced slightly at the insult. Gulliver then walked over to Skylar, and pressed his lips uncomfortably close to her ear, making her shiver, and whispered, "I guess the hero fell for the villain."
So, what do you think of chapter one? I hope you enjoyed! Remember, it'll take a while for the Lab Rats to be introduced. I hope you liked chapter one! Okay, beginning aren't my specialty, but I think I did well on this one. So, please favorite, follow, and review! Bye!
