The Proposal: Chandlers POV.

A/N: This is based around 2012 by the way! I own none of the friends cast by the way! I am a directioner by the way so that's why I chose little things!

I ran back to my apartment as fast as I could, hoping she was still there. He didn't know what to do if she had gone. The ring was in my pocket. When I reached my building, I ran up the stairs to find Joey with the trash. I told him I needed to find Monica, when he said two words that killed me. She's gone.

He told me everything. I was practically dead inside. My head dropped into my sweaty hands as I let out a muffled cry. It was like someone shot me in my heart. My life had no meaning. I was seeing everything colourlessly. The one girl I cared about the most had gone. The one true meaning my life had. Now I didn't know what to do or how to get her off Richard. He stole my girlfriend. She's gone. Why? Why does she have to go I love her?

I reached out for the door, the handle was cold. I froze for a second before twisting the cold, metal handle. To my surprise, it was not very dark inside. I continued to push the door open when I saw her. Millions of candles lit. I didn't matter. There she was. My whole world looked me in the eye. This was my one chance. No Jokes, no mistakes, just honesty.

She dropped down. I looked at her bright blue eyes sparkling. She couldn't finish her proposal, so I dropped down, looked her in the eye and said:

"I thought that it mattered. What I said or where I said it. Then I realised, the only thing that matters is that you, you make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you let me. I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way," I pulled out the white box and opened it "Monica, will you marry me?" I asked.

After what seemed like for ever she said yes! YES! I took the ring out the box and placed it on her finger. It was a perfect fit. I looked at her and then kissed her. She was mine forever! I went over to the player and played a mix tape that I actually made and grabbed her waist. I turned her around and we danced the whole night. "You're beautiful Monica," I lovingly let her know "And I love you!"

"I love you too Chandler." She said kissing me.

When the song ended I led her in the bedroom and we fell asleep holding each other close. It was a no sex night. A night where we didn't want to have sex, we just wanted to talk. We talked about our engagement. Before I went to sleep, I quietly sung into Monica's ear:

"Your hand fits in mine like its mad just for me, but bear this in mind it was, meant to be. And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on you cheeks and it all makes sense to me.

I know you've never loved the crinkles by your eyes when you smile. You never loved you stomach and your thighs. The dimples in you back at the bottom of your spine. But I'll love them endlessly.

I won't let these little things slip out, of my mouth cause it's you. It's you. It's you they add up to. And I'm in love with you. And all these little things.

I love you please never leave me." I kissed her goodnight

"Never in a million years!" She said.
