A Goodbye Note
You know I never thought I'd end up here, I had everything planned. I would rise above those heroes. I would be the best. I guess I wanted it all. To say I won something. To truthfully say I did it. Now I sit here waiting. I wait to be judged. Not sure why. I know where I'll go. I just want to know I'm right because I have always been wrong. Your probably think I'm insane. This all means nothing to the great Percy Jackson. I'm a traitor to the Gods. A follower of the Cronus. You know I remember that offer you made when we were in the Labyrinth. You said I could go back to Camp Half-blood. I refused. Gods, I was stupid. I should have gone. I get that now. That offer played in the back of my head over and over again.
I think I'm going to try for a new life. I'll be a hero, like you. I will make something out of myself. I swear. Goodbye Percy Jackson the Hero I wish I could be.
