((Note: I'm a slow writer, so this fanfic would probably take a while to be done, also I'm a bad speller ^^; sorry!)) Chapter 1 "Race to Platform 9 3/4"

It was a warm sunny morning at the burrow where the Weasleys lived. The following day Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Fred and George Weasley. Harry, Ron and Hermione would be starting their 5th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry couldn't wait, Hogwarts was his home.

Harry Potter had jet black hair which was always messy, he had green eyes. He had no parents only because Voldemont had killed them 14 years ago. Hermione was a Muggle born, with brown busy hair and brown eyes, she was the brainy and Harry's best friend. Ron had fiery red hair, like all the Weasleys, he was Harry's second best friend.

It was now 10:00 in the morning, the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione were running very late. In an hour their train to Hogwarts leaves and the Weasleys' house was like about 45 minutes away. Mr. Weasley rushed across the yard with Hermione's trunk and stuffed it into his new car, a Santa Fe. Like his old car, the trunk was magically able to hold 6 trunks. Very fast, Mr. Weasley through Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and Georges' trunks into the trunk of the Santa Fe and got into the car. "Hurry now boys or we'll be late to catch the train!" said Mr. Weasley. Harry checked Ron's watch (his watch was broken because of the 2nd task of the Triwiazard Tournament that happened at Hogwarts.) "We've only got 50 minutes to get there!" said Harry, panicky.

They all got to the train station at 5minutes to 11. "We'll have to do this in groups, come on now, I'll go with Ginny." So Mr. Weasley and Ginny walked through the barrier first, followed by Fred and George, then last was Harry, Ron and Hermione with minutes to spare. The engine train began to hiss and move alittle. "Hurry and get your stuff on the train you lot or else its going to leave without you!" So very fastly everyone got their luggage on bored and got into the train. On their way to a empty compartment, Harry spotted Cho Chang in one, talking to her friends. Harry blushed a little and kept walking. By around 12 noon, the old witch that pushed the food cart had slid open Harry, Ron and Hermione's compartment. Harry bought them each chocolate frogs and cauldron cakes, which they ate happily. As they ate, a soft rain began to beat on the windows of the train. It was a pleasant and relaxing feeling sitting there, listening to the rain.

Later on in the day the train began to slow down. "Oh, we must be close to Hogwarts." Said Hermione.
