Summary: just a drabble written by Rose's and Tentoo's son. Just fluff.
Allons-y!
Everywhere in Thyme and Socks.
He'll always remember them. Everything. The way his mom puts up their tree the same way every year or how dad is always better at pancakes. The fantastic bedtime stories they told or his sister going through "I want a horse" phase. They way his dad looks at his mom. When Riley brought home his first girlfriend—the way his parents laughed when he said their first date was chips. He'll always remember his little sister who, on her first day on the TARDIS, immediately said "Disneyland!" The misty look his dad got whenever he asked about life before his mom. His cool Uncle Tony that gave him beer. Their grandparents' mansion where they all flew to to spend Christmas and his dad would dress up as Santa. That old Beatles T-shirt his dad always wore. His mom's work stories where Torchwood has just created a martini made especially for Sontarans, God-knows-why. How you could angle a mirror and watch TV from his room after being sent to bed. The little cubbard under the stairs where he and his sister pretended to be Harry Potter. Not to mention, they realized their dad played Barty Crouch Jr.!
He always loved the bigger-on-the-inside tree house. How every Saturday during the summer, the Smith residence would host a barbecue and one time his friend Ben dropped a hot dog in the pool and his dad ate it. The old Golden Retriever they grew up with named Sparky. How fascinated his dad with American football and when he was four he downloaded "Flappy Bird" on his mom's iPhone and she then picked up shooting. The way his mom baked Thanksgiving dinner every year and she had to suffer through Grandma Jackie his dad kissed her and told her she was incredible.
He always wanted to feel the same way about someone as his dad felt about his mom. So he did. He was tall, dark hair and liked to wear coats. With Riley's blonde hair, the couple resembled Sherlock Holmes and Watson. Someday, they'll make memories of their own and their kids will as much fun as he had growing up.
But getting married didn't mean he'd forget. Not one day. He wrote and wrote more. He wrote about having a dad from another planet and how he saw the universe at five years old. He wrote about the time his dad found a grey hair, (that was catastrophic) and the time he crashed his motorcycle. He bound it together and added a title.
