Chapter 1: Failed Marriages

At a nice exquisite restaurant on the city of Toronto, Andy was waiting for Luke to arrive for their dinner date. While a few tables away, Sam was on a blind date with a woman named Ashley, who was preoccupied with something on her phone. She seemed pretty and nice, but there was something was missing about her. Sam gazed at a light brown haired woman just a few tables away from his, when he saw her, he immediately thought she was the most beautiful, stunning, and sexy woman he ever laid his eyes on. Waiting impatiently for someone to arrive just to see a blonde man passed by him heading towards her.

Andy was getting tired of waiting for Luke and was just about to leave when Luke finally arrived at the restaurant, heading in her direction.

"You're late. Again." She said while Luke was sitting down in his seat across hers.

"I'm so sorry Andy, I was stuck on a case. I promise to make it up to you later." He said then kissing her hand."

Andy sighed. He always say that but she didn't want with fight him about it, especially here. "Okay fine, but let's order."

After they both ordered what they wanted, Luke started blabbering about his day and cases. Andy pretended to enjoy and listen but having no interest at what he's saying, glanced around the restaurant when she laid her eyes on a handsome, attractive, and incredibly sexy man on a date, bored while his date is on her phone, playing on what she assumed was candy crush.

Sam looked at her direction again to see Andy looking back at him, both making eye contact with each other, he gave her his dimpled smile while she smiled back.

Two years later

Andy had finished her night shift. On her way home, she stopped by the store to get some groceries. When she had arrived to the house, only to find her husband Luke sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv, not acknowledging her at all. Andy and Luke were married for over a year, and it wasn't getting any better. She put the groceries away then headed towards the bedroom. She shook her head and saw how messed up the bed was, then later she was in the middle of straightening it, when she felt something in contact with her foot. She looked at the ground to find a pair of panties she didn't recognize. She knew it from the looks of it, it's wasn't her. Andy wondered how these had got here unless… She angrily dashed to the living room where Luke was to confront him. She stood in front of Luke, grabbed the remote and turned off the tv.

"Andy what are you…"

She cut him off by yelling… "Who in the hell do these belong to?!" Shoving the panties to his face.

Luke moved her hand out of his face "I didn't know, they could be yours!"

"Hell no! These aren't even my size and I don't recall having any panties like these!"

Luke finally stood up from the couch and trying to explain to her.

"Look Andy I..." He was cut off by her slapping him hard in the face

"You son of a bitch! How can you cheat on me and try to lie to me to my face?!"

Andy dashed back to the bedroom tearing up as she went. She immediately grabbed her suitcase from the closet and tried to pack it with much of her things as she could. When she was finished, she dragged the suitcase and grabbed her wallet and keys before dashing out of the house. But before even stepping foot out of the house, Luke grabbed her arm to stop her.

"Andy…"

She shoved herself away from him "Let go of me."

"I'm sorry ok, I was out drinking and got drunk then…"

"Doesn't matter you still did it. Besides... this marriage wasn't going well for quite some time. Goodbye Luke." She said before leaving the house. She got into her car and drove off to the nearest hotel she could find.

On the other side of town, Sam was too wondering where his wife is now, even knowing that she usually comes home late. Sam was married to Ashley for almost a year. Sam finally decided that his marriage with Ashley was not getting any better as he hoped it would and was tired of cleaning up her mess like pulling her out of arrest for the reckless things she done. Including trying making their marriage work, and attempting to change her back to the woman she was before they got married. He wondered what caused her to become like this after they got married and doubts if she ever actually truly loves him at all. Sometime later at around noon, Sam was in the kitchen cleaning up after his lunch, when he heard his wife coming through the door. He walked to the living room to see his wife passed out on the sofa, clearly hungover and shoes in hand.

Yesterday when he come home from work while his wife party rocking at some bar or nightclub. One of her friends who was really concerned for her and him, wrote and left a letter to him confessing at what his wife has been doing for the past months, having affairs by becoming an escort and sleeping with who knows how much guys. Sam feeling nothing but anger, finally decided to call his marriage quits and end it once and for all. He couldn't stand living in the same house with that woman anymore. He goes to the bedroom to get his suitcase which he packed late last night, then got his keys and wallet and did what he should have done a long time ago. While his soon to be ex wife still passed out on the couch.
