Hello everyone. I wrote this on a whim. I know that Haibara's fear for the Black Organization is real, but I just couldn't help it. I really couldn't. OOC-ness and general randomness; you've been warned.
"Hey, do you want to know why the Black Organization is so terrifying?" Haibara asked suddenly, looking down at the ground with a horrified look on her face.
Conan paused long enough to shoot her a sudden look. What brought this on? "I have a pretty good idea," he answered. After all, they shrunk him with a drug Haibara had created and killed her sister, not to mention a number of other crimes.
"No, you do not know the true horror of the Black Organization," Haibara spat back, shuddering slightly. "It's worse than you can ever imagine."
"What is it?" Conan asked, worried about the expression that Haibara was wearing.
"You know how I can always tell a member of the Black Organization from normal people?"
"Yeah," Conan replied. Where was this going?
"Well… it's because… they smell terrible!" Haibara groaned out. "Every time I come near them, I feel like I'm going to die. The stink that comes off of them is so thick that I can't breath!"
"Huh?"
"You know, that's the real reason why the Black Organization is named the way it is. It was originally supposed to be called Body Odor, but Gin thought it was too undignified for an evil organization, so he convinced the boss to change the name. It's the real reason why I left. I just couldn't stand being around them anymore, so I ran for a place where people actually knew about showers."
Conan just blinked at the crazy scientist. Did she finally lose it after being chased for so long?
Haibara caught his look and snapped, "Have you ever wondered why their abbreviation is B.O.? Think about this."
"But Vermouth never seemed to stink."
"Bah. She's the eccentric of the group. Besides her and Gin, they all smell terribly."
"Well, what about Kir?"
"She was never actually a part of the organization, she just acted like it."
Conan wasn't sure how to respond to this whole situation. So he decided to just stay silent and was very grateful when they reached the old professor's house.
