To Mr. Bran Cornick,

Sir, I would assume that by now our mutual business acquaintance has notified you or a representative of my intentions of contacting you. I respectfully request that you take a few moments of your time to read through this proposal before deleting. I understand that it could seem very forward of me to contact you personally without permission, but I hope you might find it intriguing enough to consider.

First off I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Margret Pierre; I'm 32 years old, unmarried and a CGA (Certified General Accountant) with a major Canadian financial institution. I am currently located in Toronto, Ontario.

Secondly, I hope you can forgive what must seem like a distinct breach of trust that an employee would pass on very private contact information. Phillip Singleton is a good and trustworthy individual. Please realize he only gave me this email address under a great deal of duress and persuasion on my part. I've worked with Mr. Singleton for several years on financing options for your company's holdings in Eastern Canada and will admit that I used our friendship and profession relationship as leverage in obtaining this information from him.

Mr. Cornick, I will not waste your time going on needlessly. The proposal I wish to present is this; with every respect I would ask you consider me as a possible candidate to become a Werewolf.

I assure you that I am not insane nor a fan of romanticized supernatural fiction of any sort.

Simply put Sir, I'm dying.

Seven years ago I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Unfortunately before preventative measures could be taken the cancer had already spread. The doctors now tell me all treatment options have been exhausted. I refuse to accept that is the case.

I understand that my request is not something to be undertaken lightly. Through my own research I know the 'change' is life threatening in itself but whether death comes sooner or later Mr. Cornick, if there is even the slightest chance of saving my life I will fight for it.

Attached are documents confirming my current prognoses and assurances of my mental health as well as my résumé, references, and list of personal accomplishments. The last might seem odd even considering the previous content of this message but I hope they might help convince you of my possible value as a member of Werewolf society.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you whatever you decide.

Margret Pierre

Dear Ms. Pierre,

I must admit that your request and let us say…approach have indeed intrigued me.

After much thought I've decided that your interest, at the very least, is worthy of further discussion. You are invited to my pack's home for a meeting. I hope that by coming you might gain a true understanding of the consequences that this choice entails.

I've attached the contact information of my son, Charles Cornick. Through him you may make the necessary arrangements.

Bran Cornick, Marrok
