Hawaii Five 0 doesn't belong to me.
Decided to do a story about Adam and Kono meeting
The Cop and the Crime Boss
Kono smiled at Kamekona and walked towards her car. The gang was supposed to have met for shrimp at Kamekona's but at the last moment – after Kono had already arrived – she'd received messages first from Chin who had remembered that he'd promised to go shopping with Malia, and then Danny whose ex Rachel, had decided to leave Grace with him and lastly from Steve who was just sent a message saying that he couldn't make it.
As she drove home Kono decided to go to the beach. It was late afternoon and the waves seemed to be calling to her.
She took her surf board and was going to get changed but she changed her mind and put the board back deciding instead to go to the bar and get a drink.

Adam Noshimuri sat at the end of the bar and stared down into his glass from which he still had to take a sip.
He was pathetic.
If his father could see him now, he'd be so disappointed. He was in a bar at a surf hiding from his lawyer. Adam Noshimuri, heir apparent to the Yazuka crime family, was in a bar hiding from his lawyer.
They'd had yet another argument about the direction the business was taking and Adam had stormed out. He was tired of the death and the killings. Surely they could afford to go legit. His lawyer had almost laughed when Adam had told him that and he had then proceeded to tell Adam that he would never be as good as his father.
That was when Adam had lost it and left the office.
He looked up and saw her. She looked vaguely familiar. Then he remembered. She was the beautiful cop. The one with Five 0. Kono Kalakaua.

Kono noticed Adam at the same time.
Adam Noshimuri. What was he doing in such place at such a time? And more importantly where were his thugs? She looked around the bar but there were no unfamiliar faces.
"Detective Kalakaua," Adam said, moving into the seat next to hers.
"Adam Noshimuri."
"Should I be flattered or worried that you know who I am?" he asked.
"What do you think?"
"I guess my reputation precedes me," he replied smiling inspite of himself.
"I must say that I am surprised to see you here," Kono wondered aloud.
"What do you mean?"
"I didn't think this," she looked around the room, "was quite your scene."
"Because there's a distinct lack of blood and dead bodies, you mean?"
She shrugged. "You said it not me."
Adam was going to reply when he was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. He answered it and excused himself.
Kono watched him leave the bar and after a while she saw a car pull up and he got in. a few minutes later her phone rang.
"Hello," she answered wondering who was calling her with a blocked number.
"Detective Kalakaua, this is Adam Noshimuri."
"Really," Kono felt a smile forcing its way out. "Should I be flattered or worried that you know my number?"
"What do you think?"
"Definitely worried," Kono replied. "Unless you're trying to tell me that you have the numbers of all the cops in Hawaii."
"Only the attractive ones."
"And the reason you're calling me is?"
"Just to say that I'll be seeing you."
