Life as a kitty Shaman.
Chapter One: Signing Up.
Author's note: Howdy folks, sorry I haven't written any stories in awhile but life has been hectic, my imagination has been running dry, and I've been gaming.:) Anyhow, before I give you this new fic about my Vah Shir shammy, I wanna know if you guys want me to rewrite ' A ranger's tale.' It never had any NC-17 bits in it. (Oddly enough the chapter I was working on when fanfiction.net decided its viewers weren't mature enough for NC-17 finally had the nookie bits!) It'd take me awhile to rewrite all the chapters. (They got deleted from my hard drive...damn bugs.) But if you folks want them, just mention in your reviews that you want it back and I'll do it...if I get five separate requests for it. Anyway, I don't own EverQuest(Crack) it owns me.
Tinla Crystalfur, a white tiger Vah Shir, crept out of her room as the Town crier called the early hour. It was the day she turned sixteen seasons, the day she'd apply for citizenship and her role in life. Tinla wanted nothing more then to be a member of the Dar Khura, or a shaman, as most people knew it. Tinla loved nature and all it's beauty. ' And if the Dar Khura don't accept me I always suppose I could be a Khati Sha.' Tinla thought to herself as she walked through Shar Vahl to the palace, where all Vah Shir went to learn the great classes of the Vah Shir. Of course, Tinla knew in her heart she would devastated if she was not chosen to be a Dar Khura. Tinla entered the room where the trainers of the order of the Dar Khura stood, doing their daily busniess. A kind looking white tiger, standing near the fornt of the room, spotted her. " Come forth young one. What can we of the Order of Dar Khura do to help you?" Tinla walked forward, trying to take control of her shaking, " I wish to join the Order." Tinla said, surprisingly keeping her voice even, bowing. The white tiger smiled, and looked Tinla over with a careful eye, " Do you swear to protect the people of Shar Vahl, and all of nature from the evils of the world?" " I do, sir." The tiger's smile widened. " Before you can join our Order, young one, you must become a citizen of our fair Shar Vahl. Go to Registrar Bindarah and give her this." The tiger handed a piece of paper to Tinla, " That is your application for your citizenship. Tell her that Elder Spiritst Grawleh sent you. You'll find Bindarah near the South Gates." Tinla nodded and headed towards the South Gate. *** It had been several hours since Grawleh had sent Tinla on her way to the registrar before Tinla was finally able to say she was a Shar Vahl citizen. ' Couldn't they have done this when I was born? It would have saved me a lot of trouble.' Tinla thought. After she went to see the registrar, Tinla was sent to the tax collector, who resided in the bank near the centre of the city, then it was off to the Northern Gate to go find a someone named Mignah, who was in the top floor of a tavern, to get am acrylia slate. Tinla's right forepaw still hurt from its contact with the burning hot metal. After all that she went back to Bindarah, who sent her to see the king. The King! Tinla was shaking so badly, she was glad she didn't have to speak, for certainly her voice would have not been overheard from her teeth chattering. Finally after one last visit to Bindarah she was heading back to Grawleh, to show him that she was now a citizen. Tinla ran back to the Dar Khura training area, excited. Grawleh read over the papers and smiled, " Welcome to our Order Tinla. May you serve us well." Grawleh handed Tinla a cloak that signified her rank as a trainee Dar Khura. Tinla lovingly wrapped the cloak around her shoulders, enjoying the feel of it. " Speak to spiritist Fehril to see about furthering your training. I suggest you go home first and get some food in you and rest." Grawleh said, kindness in his voice. " Thank you sir!" Tinla bowed, happily running off home to tell her mother the good news.
