Fog. A marvelous thing, it is.
My life has been turned upside down. I was once a princess, now I am an outlaw. Li Mu Bai is dead. Shu Lien is in mourning. Governor Yu has sent people looking for me.
The Green Destiny's blade is stained once again with blood.
In the fog, I see it all. In the fog, Li Mu Bai's face stands out among the silky whiteness. In the fog, I see the Green Destiny in my own hand, hurting Shu Lien, killing many at the restaurant, fighting Li Mu Bai, fighting my former master, Jade Fox.
I am no ones friend, I am no ones enemy, I am Lo's lover. I don't know who I am or why I did anything I did.
I made the wrong decision by listening to Jade Fox those many, many years ago. I made the wrong decision by following and sleeping with Lo.
I cannot live with myself. I do not know who this "myself" person is. I cannot kill myself and leave Lo battered, horrified, mournful, and hopeless, as I am.
This mountain is the answer.
I will become one with the fog.
