Leaving.

She looked at him with tears in her eyes. She had known it was the last time, the last time it could ever happen. She was getting married tomorrow, to a man who loved her and would be accepted in her life. But all she really wanted was in this man, this beautiful man, with silver grey eyes and platinum blonde hair.

Every place I'll go, I'll think of you

Every song I sing, I'll sing for you

He knew she lay there crying. He knew he could stop the crying with a few simple words. And then they could be together. But then she would never be able to see her friends, her family, everyone would hate her. The shining Gryffindor, prefect, headgirl and friend to the boy who lived, marrying an ex deatheater! She would be hated. He could not put her through that. So he will leave her to have a life with her fiance.

There's so many times I've let you down

So many times I've played around

I'll tell you now, they don't mean a thing

She knew that she had hurt him when she got engaged to Ron. She knew that he thought that what he was doing was the best for her. She knew he loved her and always would. And she knew that they would never see each other again. That this was the last time they would ever make love or look into each others eyes.

Now the time has come to leave you

One more time let me kiss you

Close your eyes I'll be on my way

He stood up from the bed and began to get dressed, pulling on his shirt and trying to hold back the tears. He checked his pocket for the plane tickets, his tickets to New York. He went and sat beside Hermione. He stroked her hair and cheek. She looked up at him with tear filled brown eyes. He bent down and kissed her, softly, chastly on the lips and stood up. He walked over to the door and turned the handle. A quiet whisper assaulted his ears. Who knew that "I love you" would cause the great Draco Malfoy to break down in tears...

Cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane

Don't know when I'll be back again

Oh babe, I hate to go...

A/N I don't own Harry Potter (although I'd love to get him for my bday) or Leaving On A Jet Plane by John Denver. I know its quite strange but it came to me and I had to write it!
