Dean peeked at Castiel through rolled down window of his 67' Chevy Impala, "You getting in or what, Cas?"
The fallen angel hesitated before sliding on to the leather seat beside the hunter. He sat awkwardly, staring at his hands before glancing upwards to catch the gaze of his friend, who had been inspecting him carefully. The connection only lasted for a second before his attention turned back to his hands.
"Are we going to go now, Dean?" Cas asked in a rough voice.
Dean nodded and pursed his lips as he put the car into drive.
"So – uhm – Cas, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Dean smirked, breaking the silence. It took all his strength to hold back chuckles that nearly escaped his perfect lips, caused by his own humor.
Cas' blue eyes looked towards Dean's, whose were fixed on the road ahead. "Are you attempting to make an advance towards me?" he asked awkwardly. The smirk plastered on Dean's face was wiped off and he turned away as he began to blush.
"Uh, no."
The handsome hunter pulled into the parking lot of a small gas station and put his baby into park. The car door swung out and he easily slid out onto the concrete. Just before he closed the door, he looked directly into Cas' confused face.
"Wait here. Don't be skipping out on me to go looking for hot chicks to bang, you won't want to miss this," Dean said jokingly. A moment later, the humor was gone, "Trust me."
Dean paid the store clerk in cash and made his way back to the precious car where his friend waited inside. "Heads up," he said as he tossed a box on to Cas' lap. He calmly sat down and gave the ex-angel a smooth half smile, despite the feeling of nervousness clotting in the pit of his stomach.
Cas' brows furrowed, "What's this?"
"Those, my friend, are condoms," Dean took in a deep, shaky breath then smiled, "I'll show you how to use them."
