It's dark, isn't it? Darker than your world was ever before… I'm sure you never expected this, and I'm glad that you're not awake to see this. I don't think… no… I know that you wouldn't like to see this kind of darkness. I would know… I am you, after all. I am your power, your instinct, your desire, your emotions… I am your everything. I am everything that you are, and you are everything that I am…
As much as this sound like I'm flattering myself, I must say that I admire you. You wanted to disappear, but you didn't want to be alone. That's why you wished to disappear with everyone dear to you, and then at the final moment, twist everything around. Though you did not want to disappear alone, your desire to keep them safe overpowered that desire. And since I know how much you despise being alone, I was surprised when you managed to do that.
Perhaps that was something about you that you never really shared with me before…
Haha…! You're stupid, you know that? So stupid and noble that sometimes I don't know why I even bother with you. It's not like I have a choice though. I exist to grant your wishes. I am your power, so I cannot just ignore you despite the fact that your wishes are sometimes a little stupid and unnecessary. Sometimes, I start to think that we may not really be the same person after all despite being created from you.
I don't think I would be able to do such a heroic act like ignore my own wishes and endure the loneliness that I know would be waiting for me…
But don't you worry… because I will continue to grant your wishes. You wished to disappear, but you never willed for me to disappear with you. It's almost like… your physical body may be gone, but you will… I will still continue to exist as the power of a mana that could once grant his own wishes. A selfish ability, I know, but you managed to twist everything around.
Since I am now simply a 'power', people who knew about my existence may want me for themselves... but they cannot. You are my harness. No one could use me except you.
That's why I will continue to stay by your side… to fulfill your wish of not disappearing alone…

Author's notes: stares Wow… This is short… Less that 500 words… I told you this would be a drabble. Sigh… I was having a really hard time thinking about how the other Vayne would think. I mean… he claims to be Vayne, but he acts a lot different. Hmm… sigh… I know that Vayne said in the bad ending that the other Vayne disappeared too, but meh… I need him alive for this drabble…
