He wasn't picking up. It was the third time I had called him. Straight to voice mail. Again. Please leave a message after the tone. Beep.

"Barry. It's Felicity again. What happened there. I heard on the news power went out over all of Central City. Please call me back." I pause before saying the last part, "I'm worried about you." Then I hang up.

"Any word?" Oliver asks me. I place down my cell and turn to face him.

"No," I say, "He didn't answer again."

"It's alright, Felicity. I'm sure his phone ran out of battery or something. No need to jump to rash conclusions."

"I'm not," I lie. The truth is, I've gone through hundreds of scenarios in my head already. None make much sense and are highly unlikely. But all the things I've been through in the past year have sort of all been lacking in scientific reason, and things I would have never thought possible. Ever. So I just learned not to think anything to be impossible. And I continue to let that idea of nothing being impossible lead my thoughts into places that would land me in a mental institution. Though, as far as I know, there aren't any telepaths in Starling City who have it out for me, so I think my thoughts are safe from unwanted attention.

I sit there, ponder for awhile. Oliver leaves, says he has to go home to his family. And then I'm all alone.

I wait another hour before dialing Barry's number for the fourth time. I'm sure he is going to think I'm some lunitic who can't get enough of him when he finds all the voice mails I'm leaving him.

The phone rings twice before it gets picked up. I hear heavy breathing on the other line.

"Hello?" I venture. What if Barry was kidnapped? What if the person on the other line is going to start demanding a ransom?

My absurd thoughts are broken when I hear Barry's voice speaking through the phone. "Felicity?"

I interrupt before he says any more. "Barry! Oh my god! Are you alright?" I say fast.

"I'm fine. I think," I hear something in the background, like glass breaking.

"Barry, what happened?" I ask, my heart beating fast at what could have gone down. Broken glass?

"I'm not sure," He replies in a groggy tone. "I was watching the news and...the power went out...then...I was struck..."

"Struck? By lightning?! Listen, Barry, you need to go to the hospital!" I tell him. But how is he even alive? How is he even able to speak?

"I appear unhurt. For reasons unknown..." He says. He doesn't even have any injuries? I hear the noise of glass again, like someone walking on it. Then a woosh, like wind.

"What was that?" I ask.

"Whoa..." He says, more to himself then me though.

"Barry? What's going on?" I ask, I can't stand not knowing.

"Hold on Felicity, I'll be right there," Barry says. By his voice, I can tell he is smiling, big.

"No, you can't not in your-" I don't get to finish before I hear the woosh sound again. But this time, not only do I hear it on the phone, but I hear in the room I am in.

I turn around, and there he is. Barry.

"How'd you...?" I begin, but he cuts me off by placing a finger to my mouth.

"I told you I would be on time," He says.

And then he kisses me.

Meh. Mushy ending. Don't get me wrong, I'm not really a Barry and Felicity shipper, I just really had to write this. I like just watched the midseason finale like 20 minutes ago, and OMG! Amazing! January 15 cannot come quick enough! It also looks like a great set up for the new Flash TV show, so I can't wait for that either!

I hope you like! Please REVIEW!
