Critical Fiancée
Loneliness. One word, so many feelings. Sometimes she craved this so much and at the same time never wanted to experience. At times she really needed the peace, isolation, but never ever wanted to be left, lonely exactly in this meaning. Not loved.
She wanted to be sure that Chuck has strong affection for her, and the fact that she couldn't read this in his arcane eyes led her to the fury, which she didn't show. She wanted to get rid of the past. Blair. Just like this. She only wanted this famous here and now, which she never found.
Every day she has been afraid that Chuck will walk away. Not because they will argue and go separate ways. Not because they will want to take the break. He will walk away, because He loves somebody else. And this love won't be enough for her.
She was afraid that He really loved somebody, with emotion which He never was able to give to her.
She was afraid that he loved truly. Unconditionally. Madly. Naively. For eternity.
She was afraid that somebody had received the package of her dreams as the gift even not appreciating it.
No, Waldorf wasn't able to appreciate what She got.
She couldn't see in Him, what Eva could, for which Chuck was somebody more than an ordinary love. He was her other half. Her bright Sun, her fresh air. He was her golden evening and a silvery morning . He was her suffering and her happiness. All her world.
That is why she loved still, watching how He is walking away. Her love. Her friendship. How her entire world was drifting away and everything that was combined with Him, gathered into the last small crumb by the Brunette.
She let Him walk away, at the same time keeping Him all by herself. Keeping his face in the memory, wanting to be close to him at any time. She suffered, not knowing where she made a mistake, letting Blair sneak into their world.
Without the word she listened to the stories about Her.
Because she loved.
She pretended that she wasn't angry and she isn't feeling at all unpleasantly, ignoring the heart.
Because she loved frantically.
She smiled, when He smiled. Because she was really happy, when he was happy.
Because she loved truly.
And she loved, watching how He is coming back to her. Seeing how is suffering because of Waldorf and what pain causes her this view. He didn't give the reason of the parting, she didn't ask.
Because she loved unconditionally.
Because she loved entire this time and she didn't stop, although she was truly conscious, that He wasn't coming back to her out of love. She has loved Him at first sight and will love him forever.
Because Eva fell in love with Him for eternity.
