It's unavoidable really. Death. At least, that's what people keep saying. And it's true! He has seen death everywhere. But... not quite. He is immortal, more or less. He can be stricken down like anypne sle, but he'll come back, and that's definitly not something normal people do. He wonders if he actually dies, or just comes so close that it seems like death. He seems to heal from the wounds, like that time he got shot outside of Torchwood and the bullet was just squeexed out of his head before it wondered if he would heal if he lost his head completely. In the physical sense, not the metaphorical one. He figured that had happened long ago. Probably not too long after he met... well, nevermind that. He asked a lot of questions about his immortality, and only rarely were any of them answered. Still, at least he knew what had happened, more or less. Hmm... Captain Jack Harkness, Fixed Point. Well, he'd better start getting used to it. Looked like he would be that way for a while.
