A/N Hello Internet. So I thought that just doing loads of little Hiccstrid limericks would be fun because they are quick, easy and in my opinion, really fun to write. I know that limericks are supposed to be funny but knowing me there will probably be sad or depressing or just really romantic ones.
Waiting for you to return
I sit down by the glistening water
As I watch the oceans get considerably shorter
You told me you'd only be a few weeks
As you wiped the tears streaming down my cheeks
You need to come home honey, so you can see your daughter.
They're beautiful
They have her golden hair
That I stoke with great care
I watch as they open their delicate eyes
A jade colour that tells no lies
But she will never see them, life just isn't fair
You're beautiful to me (based loosely on The World Is Ugly by MCR)
The sound of metal on metal
Yet you still remain as beautiful as a rose petal
You slash and burn
You chop you churn
Yet you still remain my flower when everyone becomes a nettle
Daddy
"Daddy" She squeaked
My wife shrieked
Her first word
Dedicated to me, the nerd
Thank Thor I was holding her or I would've freaked
Midnight cuddles
She buried herself deeper
Wow she's a light sleeper
She cuddles closer to me
Wrapping her leg around my knee
Yup, she's a keeper
Valentines Day present
I keep fiddling with it my pocket
And I keep telling myself to stop it
She wraps her arms around me like the first time
While in the sky we climb
Finally I hold my breath and pull out a golden locket
Wedding Day
She stands there glowing
Her silky locks free and showing
Her smile is bright
And her fingernails are tell tail signs of where she bites
From here our love will carry on growing
