The snow was thick as it fell from the heavens and down into the icy world below. Tears streamed down her rosy cheeks, warm from the running she had just done. Cannons sounded from behind her as the fighting just started between the pirates and the marines. She couldn't leave him like this not now. His lips were graced upward as he laid lifeless in her arms. A gun shot wound was the final thing that put his aching body and soul to rest. A large arm wrapped around her body and tugged her away quickly, not allowing her to caress his cold cheeks any longer.

Into the sky they both flew, Doflamingo, her captain, holding onto her tight so as to not drop her. She felt her heart break as he left his brother there dead in the snow. Watching as Rocinate disappeared beneath the falling snow.

Fighting was heard down below as those same eyes that had watched Rocinate disappear looked down at a lifeless Law. Her bottom lip quivered as she fell to her knees before him. Doflamingo at her back, Luffy no where to be seen, and her whole world falling apart around her. Her trembling hands reached down and placed themselves over the fresh wounded gun shot holes; it was all too familiar to her.

"Why?" her voice trembled.

"Why did you have to do this… why did you have to kill them both?" She narrowed her eyes as the tears slipped past, burning the cuts that she had gotten on her face during the fighting. Doflamingo didn't say anything as he stood behind her, watching her every move. He knew that she wasn't going to put up a fight anymore, not with both of the men she once loved now dead; there was no fight left in the girl. Doflamingo raised the gun and pointed the end at the back of her head.

"They both betrayed me and so they both died a traitor's death." Was his simple reply. But she knew better. Rocinate was only trying to save his brother from the monster that he was becoming and Law only went to seek out revenge for what Doflamingo had done to Rocinate. She closed her eyes and let a cry escape past her lips. Her hands tightening the hold on Law's jacket.

"They didn't betray you! You betrayed them!" She heard the cocking of the gun which was a signal that her end was approaching. Even after all these years, nobody was able to save Doflamingo. He had become a monster with no remorse for anyone or anything. Whoever was going to stand in his path was going to die one way or another. Maybe not today, but someday they would all be at the Demon's mercy.

And then with a large and devilish smile, Doflamingo pulled the trigger.
