Alice ran down the stairs of the Cullen house, trying to get to Edward before he left to Bella's house. "Edward, I need to talk to you really quick!" Edward turned to his sister, annoyed that his time with Bella was being stalled for something most likely unimportant. "Somebody's coming," Edward raised his eyebrows at the warning. "for Bella. There's two of them, not too far from Forks."
Edward's eyes went black as he turned and ran to his car. He sped off, driving over 120 mph, desperate to reach Bella and protect her. Who could possibly want to hurt Bella? Edward thought to himself. She's so innocent and sweet. Pulling to the side of the road, Edward pressed himself into the drivers seat, trying to calm himself. After a few seconds, Edward was calm enough to breathe properly. The back doors of the car swung open, and Jasper and Rosalie sat in the back seat. Edward glared into the rear view mirror at the two.
"Alice couldn't see who the people were, only the background. We're only here if you need help." Jasper explained, ignoring the look being cast his way. Rosalie didn't like this situation at all, and Edward's attitude was making it worse. "Do you want us to help you with your human or not? I sure I can find something better to do." Edward roughly put his car in drive and sped off again. Minutes Later the three were at the Swan residence. Edward got out of the car after instructing the two blondes in the back seat to stay seated, and to be nice on Rosalie's account.
Edward walked up to the door and knocked, waiting for someone to come down. Bella's strong scent became even stronger as she came to the door. She was dressed in her normal jeans, long sleeved shirt and sneakers, with her hair down. Her face showed shock, seeing Edward at the door when Charlie wasn't home. "Bella, we need to go......now." She looked genuinely confused about the comment. "But why? What's going on?" Edward gave her a sad smile, and grabbed her hand, pulling her outside, also closing the door. "I'll tell you in the car, but we need to leave." The two hurried to the car and Bella got in the passengers seat. She only noticed the other two in the car when she buckled her seat belt. Edward drove off into the street, and Bella had to ask. "Where are we going?
"Anywhere but here, someone's coming for you." Edward gripped the steering wheel. Jasper decided to explain things. "Alice had a vision, we know two persons are coming, but we don't know who or what they are..."
