The dreams and visions had become exponentially worse; his head ached with an almost constant throb. Harry was trying to enjoy his visit with Lupin at Headquaters, but he couldn't shake the constant nagging from his scar. When questioned about it, Harry told Lupin the truth, but immediately regretted it. For Lupin instantly summoned the Headmaster from Hogwarts, who, in turn, summoned the potions master, who was about as happy to see Harry during the summer holidays as Harry was to see him. After protesting about his lack of preparation and muttering something about the Pensieve, Snape was coerced into giving Harry an impromptu Occlumency lesson.

In the empty kitchen at Headquaters, Snape stared at Harry, his wand at the ready.

"On the count of three…1-2-3-Legilimens!"

Harry instantly felt his headache lessen as his mind opened up and memories rushed forward. But this time, instead of reliving his own life, he closed his eyes and focused on making his mind act as mirror, bouncing Snape's spell back at him. It seemed to work, for the memories that flashed in front of Harry's eyes were certainly not his own:

A mohawked, teenaged Tonks glared defiantly at Snape at the front of the Potions classroom, her nose enlarging to match his …Tonks laughed and touched Remus's arm during an Order meeting, while Snape glared at him from across the table …an unconscious and battered Tonks lay in a hospital bed, Snape beside her, sitting in a chair with his face in his hands …Snape whispered in Tonks' ear on the stone steps outside Headquarters …Snape and Tonks, wearing muggle clothing, sat on a park bench eating Chinese food from cartons ...Tonks gazed at her reflection in a mirror, changing her hair from green spikes to blond curls, as a smirking Snape stood in the doorway, arms crossed … a shirtless Snape leaned over Tonks, kissing her on a canopy bed, while unbuttoning her shirt, revealing a hot pink bra and….Harry gasped at the shock of seeing a shirtless Snape, not to mention nearly-topless Tonks. His concentration broken, the memories disappeared as quickly as they had appeared. He was now left to face a reddened and angry-looking Snape.

'Potter!' Snape muttered, his voice low and threatening. 'I suggest you use your utmost discretion with any…information you might gather from these sessions.'

'I…er…will, sir' Harry's face was now flushed as well.

At that moment, the kitchen door burst open, and a petite, pink haired witch with sparkling green eyes entered the room. 'Wotcher Harry!' Tonks said brightly. 'Severus, if you're finished with Harry, I believe I've found a ghoul in one of the bedrooms upstairs. I could use a hand banishing it.' Harry could have sworn she batted her eyes at Snape just then. Snape composed himself and coolly replied 'certainly', before giving Harry one last glare and sweeping, bat-like, from the room.

Shaking his head with disbelief, Harry thought to himself 'Wait until Ron and Hermione hear this!'
